Erdogan Claims 2,000 Russian, 5,000 Sudanese Mercenaries Fighting In Libya

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan claims that 2,000 Russian and 5,000 Sudanese mercenaries are participating in the Libyan conflict on the side of the Libyan National Army (LNA).

The Turkish President made this claim in Tunisia on December 25. He arrived in the country to discuss with its leadership the situation in neighbouring Libya, in which Ankara supports the LNA’s rival – the Government of National Accord (GNA). The main reason of the Turkish ‘friendship’ with the GNA is that it had signed a maritime memorandum that helps Ankara to legalize its controversial drilling activities in the Eastern Mediterranean.

So, now, Turkish officials and Turkish media are in the state of full-scale propagnada in an attempt to shame and blame critics and opponents of the GNA, as well as to justify the possible deployment of Turkish troops in the country.

“We take steps with the internationally recognized Sarraj administration,” Erdogan said refering  to the GNA. “Let us not allow other actors to oppress our brothers and sisters in Libya.”

“Under what name did the so-called Wagners, which include 5,000 actors from Sudan and 2,000 from Russia, come to Libya? What are they doing there?” the President said.

Tunisian President Saied said they had an extensive meeting about the Libya question. He said the deal signed between Libya and Turkey concerns the two countries.

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu, Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, the head of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) Hakan Fidan, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun and Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalın are accompanying Erdogan in his trip. Turkey is apparently trying to get diplomatic support from regional countries for a military intervention in Libya.

libya is Egypt back yard, i can see the Egyptians military challenging Turkey in the such area and by reason they must .

Fog of War

Why doesn’t Egypt challenge the Zionist state instead ? It would make more sense.

Ronald

You are lost in the Fog of War. You don’t remember Egypt’s trouble with the Muslim Brotherhood.

d'Artagnan

The only trouble was the Zionists fearing that Morsi would lift the blocade of Gaza and support the Palestinians and get close to Iran. The MB won Egypt’s only relatively free elections.

Ronald

Iran and the MB are not friends, so that is bogus. The 800 million to the MB from Obama does not classify it as a “relatively free election”. The people of Egypt are directly involved with their government, and did not fancy the creation of another Caliphate out of their nation. Look at Idlib, do you think the Syrians there are happy living under the MB of Al Qaeda.

d'Artagnan

Well, the reason is quite simple Egyptian military is totally controlled by the US and Zionists and that is the main reason Dr. Morsi’s elected government was overthrown and a puppet Sisi dictatorship put in place.

d'Artagnan

You are largely correct. There are economic and strategic reasons for Egypt to intervene in Libya as well. Egypt is largely a failed rentier state run by a US and Zionist controlled military that overthrew an elected government, whether it be Muslim Brotherhood or not, that was not the point. Then Morsi was slowly killed and all dissent suppressed. Sisi is very much like MBS a totally western controlled puppet imposing a very ruthless dictatorship over a very poor country bested by social, economic and political problems. The Egyptian military views Libyan oil and gas as a strategic survival asset as Egypt’s 100 million population is literally killing the parched and famished land as the Nile dries out due to Ethiopian damming the river and restricting flow even further. Egypt is in no position to challenge Ethiopia so Libya is a more tempting and richer target. However, Egypt’s actions in Libya will be dictated by its US masters and for the US, Turkey is far more important asset in its conflict with Russia and Iran. Arabs are expendable. The very reason Erdogan paid a “surprise” visit to Tunisia was with US blessings as it will be a logistical hub for a brigade sized Turkish intervention and easy access to Tripoli with the connecting 780 kms coastal highway.

Ronald

Well, yes, Morsi was elected after Obama gave the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, $ 800 million to finance the election.

Problem was they didn’t tell the Egyptian people they were MB.

Only when they started appointing convicted MB criminals as Cabinet Ministers, did Egyptians realize they had been deceived. They took to the streets massively in every city, demanding a military coup, after 8 weeks the military complied. The US backs the Muslim Brotherhood in Idlib, in Turkey and in Libya. Tunisia is another Salafist strong hold, with strong ties to Saudi Arabia that the US also supports. Egypt can not survive Libya under MB rule, and they know it.

Mehmet Aslanak

Erdogan has a wide range of mercenaries too, there would be no need for Turkish troops, otherwise Egypt would send its troops, too.

FlorianGeyer

Erdogan would be wise to withdraw his mercenaries from ALL of Syria, including ISIS and Al Nusra, and instead send them to Libya where they can all be killed.

This would ba a win win for Erdogan :)

xTheWarrior22

He’s in a no-win situation anyway.

The moral being, Climb out of the hole that one has dug, before its too deep to get out.

Headchoppers will be exterminated wherever they Go or Pop-Up…the Entire World knows by now where this Airborne Headchopping Virus is coming from….You will have to Eradicate AngloZioNazi-Terrorism at the root, punish the Headchoppers severely and hunt down their Puppetmasters without Mercy…

FlorianGeyer

Thousands of years of historical pogroms suggests that another pogrom WILL occur. :)

Hasbara Hunter

THE FINAL POGROM….

We must save a few for the Zio rats that hide in far off sewers, HH.

I must say that I am pretty much done with these Paedophile Parasites….The last couple of years opened up a whole new perception…

FlorianGeyer

Bolt holes quickly become graves once they are discovered :)

Peter Jennings

It seems this affair is not about the liberty of Libyans but for new territorial waters and the profits of oil and gas. The line is so close to Cyprus, they may as well have drawn the line across the beach. The Turkish admin like to use the moral high ground but will plunder all the same.

Fog of War

Haftar is an obvious CIA asset. I’m surprised Russia is supporting him.

George King

Was not Erdogan a CIA asset before their attempted assassination of him? As for Haftar, it is not obvious that he remains a CIA asset by facts on the ground.

Hasbara Hunter

Erdogan is a Dönmeh Crypto-Jew…says it all

Fog of War

He lived in Langley, Va for decades. His wealth, house, family, and assets are there. Do you actually think he gave all that up to go lead a potentially failed side in Libya ? Do you think he would still be alive if the ZioAmericans thought he betrayed them ? The only reason the LNA is a fighting force is because of support from Russia and a small group of ZioAmerican lackeys. This whole thing stinks to high heaven. For full disclosure, I dont care about the GNA also, which is officially approved by the UN. Doesn’t that include the security council ( US, RUSSIA, FRANCE, CHINA, BRITAIN ) There is something else going on that we all dont understand yet

Ivanus59

How long till LNA clears Tripoli?

d'Artagnan

Not very likely without full scale Egyptian intervention. The window is next 4 weeks as Turkey will intervene as the small border port of Ras Adjir is being prepared and short 2 hour drive to Tripoli. Turkish special forces are already there.

Black Waters

Turks already crying? Loool

ERDOGAN CLAIMS 2,000 RUSSIAN, 5,000 SUDANESE MERCENARIES FIGHTING IN LIBYA…

WELL MISTER ERDOGAN THAT SEEMS LIKE A DA*MN GOOD REASON FOR YOU TO STAY OUT OF LIBYA

TruthSeeker

No probably not. Let Turkey extend Russia’s reach anyways. The Russians are drunk with power and want to be everywhere at the same time. They are reckless and impatient.

Hasbara Hunter

The Muricans are already overstretched for years….1 Trillion Defense Budget per Year…23 Trillion Dollar Debt…It is over for them…

TruthSeeker

Just as Russia waited for America to start using the controller, America handed it to Russia. The Russians took the bait and they will lose more than they gain. Russia will exhaust itself in this war of attrition. Russians should come and drink themselves to death. Who knows?

Hasbara Hunter

America will turn into Glass if they don’t watch out…..Russia has had a lot of patience…but things like Patience sooner or later come to an End… Murica is Nothing….The choice is up to Muricans…If they prefer the Second coming of Christ…they will get their Second coming of Christ…and even a Third coming of Christ to finish the Job….

Elites are Chickenshit Cowards who Want Power, Control & Fortunes…they know they can’t take their Fortunes to Hell with’m…and Lucifer will be in Total Control…So Elites don’t want to die….

Xoli Xoli

Erdogan spy eyes are on Russia activities.

Barba_Papa

I’m excited about Erdogan pursuing a new hobby. His last project in Syria did not work out as planned, it would seem that he’s looking for a new project that will fail.
