The demand came after US President Donald Trump, in a letter to Erdogan on October 9, said the Kurdish commander was “willing to negotiate” with the Turkish president and “make concessions that they would have never made in the past”.
Turkey viwes Abdi, also known as Ferhat Abdi Sahin and Mazloum Kobane, as a “terrorist” linked to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). Accordingly, Ankara says that the SDF and the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) are linked to the PKK.
On October 25, Turkish foreign minister slammed Turkish allies for dealing with groups that it sees as terrorists.
“Our allies’ dialogue with a terrorist [Sahin] wanted with a red notice is unacceptable,” Mevlut Cavusoglu said.
The Kurds should give the Turks this guy on a silver platter, as he’s obviously the Gamelin of Kurdish commanders, the Lloyd Fredendall, the Neil Ritchie, the ‘insert your country’s own worst general in military history’. With this guy in charge they lost Afrin, now their own heartlands along the Turkish border and soon they’ll end up in some godforsaken shithole in the desert on top of some oil fields. Until they will lose that too as well thanks to this asshat. Ship him off to Erdogan, put a nice bowtie around him as a present for Erdy and Kurdish military and political fortunes might actually improve.

Its rather surreal to see Erdogan demanding that the US hand over a PKK terrorist, when Erdogan himself has been harbouring Wahabi terrorists of all descriptions to further Turkish land grabs and looting of Syria.
Erdogan will be demanding that the US turns over the ISIS commanders and families recently ‘rescued’ by the US next, and that would never do :)
