Turkey is sending troops to Libya in order to support the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA), President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on January 16, a few days before a summit in Berlin which will address the Libyan conflict.
He recalled that Anakra will continue using military and diplomatic means to support the GNA led by Fayez al-Sarraj and ensure stability in the region.
According to Erdogan, Turkey would start granting licenses for exploration and drilling in the eastern Mediterranean in 2020. This move will be done in the framework of the widely-deplored maritime agreement with the GNA. Erdogan noted that Turkey’s Oruc Reis ship would begin seismic activities in the region.
From now on everything in Syria will go from victory to victory and total liberation!!

We will see about that. Egypt can kick Turk arse in Libiya any time. In the Arab world Egypt’s army is still second to none. Turkey’s role was always supporting Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic (would be jihad) mercenary terrorism as instrument to revive Otoman Empire.
There will be no increase in anti-Turkish sentiment. Turkey is doing the right thing in Libya. The west wants to remove the Islamist government in Tripoli. Turkey is protecting them. Turkey must enter this fight with full force. Just like Russia in Syria, Turkey was invited by the internationally recognized government of Libya. So Russia cannot send bombers to Libya. Russia is a prostitute. She is behaving in Libya like the US is behaving in Syria.
I can’t be judge of that . I don’t follow situation in Libya. I don’t think that you are being accurate since some important EU countries are behind UN recognized gov. in Tripoli. If not those in Tripoli would never get UN recognition in the first place. West was supporting the jihad terrorist in Syria they do the same in Libya just like Turks. Nothing has changed. Are you Turk maybe? “The west wants “- Who exactly is the “West” ?! I think that “West” is divided and even support opposite sides so it doesn’t make sense to talk about the “West” in this case.. I personally think that they ALL should get the fuck out of Libya and leave those people alone. And I know that will never happen. Russians are against terrorists everywhere (recognized and not recognized by UN) and Russians chase their interests like everybody else. Turkey is not so big player trying to play games reserved for bigger players.

Russia will kick Turk arse any time if their relations really arise to the level of the open conflict. It was so always it will happen again if need be.

Russia once again helps its new ally, Turkey. But here the story is quit different. Turkey isnt welcome there (as in Syria) but it goes one step further. it wants Libya and is willing to fight Russias ally LNA. Russia helped LNA a lot as in SYria but now it supports its enemy Turkey. seems like the same story as it occured with US and SDF

This war isn’t even a Libyan war anymore. The GNA has thousands of Turkish backed troops on the ground and the LNA has thousands of Russian mercenaries fighting. Disgrace

Erdogan s like the stone you throw in the pool, he makes waves who fade out as he fades out, now he is loking important in Libya but loses foothold in Turkey and Europe. In a while he will be forgotten and buried but temporary might make waves by the penguins on the south pool building mosques their for Columbus passing by.
Turkey is doing the right thing in Libya. The legitimate Libyan government in Tripoli is not friendly to the west. it is a Muslim Brotherhood government. Muslim Brotherhoods seek to overthrow the corrupt leaders of the Islamic world, including Saudi Arabia, U.A.E, Egypt etc. The are the backbone of a movement in Saudi Arabia to overthrow the house of Saud.
Russia is an imperialistic country. He is supporting Khalifa Haftar (an agent of the west) due to lucrative oil deals it promised Russia. It won’t be long before other countries start to support Turkey.
Turkey must end its support for the terrorists in Syria and seek Iran’s help in Libya. Should Iran join the fight in Support of Tripoli, things will change really fast.
Meanwhile, CNN just reported that 11 US soldiers were injured in the Iranian missile attack last week. they are currently being treated in Germany and Kuwait.
