On October 25, the EU Parliament backed a resolution supporing Ukraine in its conflict with Russia in the Sea of Azov.
The joint resolution, which passed during the session, had been proposed by the five biggest political groups in the parliament — The European People’s Party, the Socialists and Democrats, the European Conservatives and Reformists, the Greens, and the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats.
It calls for the appointment of an EU Special Envoy for Crimea and Donbas, with responsibilities covering the Azov Sea.
“The EP urges the Vice-President of the Commission and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy (Federica Mogherini), together with the EU Member States in the European Council, to make it clear that the targeted sanctions against Russia will be reinforced if the conflict in the Azov Sea escalates further,” the document says. “(The parliament) considers, in this regard, that it would be very useful to appoint an EU Special Envoy for Crimea and the Donbas region, whose responsibilities would also cover the Sea of Azov.”
Thus, the resolution blaimes Moscow for the current crisis in the Sea of Azov. It shoul be noted that the crisis started when Ukraine undertaken a series of hostile actions against Russia, including detining vessels under the Russian flag there. Moscow responded by deploying additional coastal guard forces in order to defend its waters as well as started checking ships moving to the Ukrainian ports in the Sea of Azov.
One wonders what the EU parliament uses for brains. It seems they won’t be happy with just losing out on trade with Russia instead, insisting on pushing for a war, maybe initiated by Ukraine/US, that will see once more the world embroiled in a major war and the EU once again reduced to rubble. Seems quite stupid to me. The best thing the Europeans could do to live in peace and trade openly with whomever they wish, is to leave that US colony called the EU while there’s still time.
Russia is being defeated just like the USSR. No need to defeat them on the battlefield. That would be counterproductive. Objective is to keep Russia on the battlefield and as many battlefields as possible. Then throw in a full blown arms race and Putin follows the USSR into oblivion.
Arms race? US is 31 Trillion in debt and no one is buying their bonds being offered. How do you suppose the US can finance such an arms race?
Not US. YOU will finance it. US is pt sucking up Saudi, EU, Brazil, Libya, Syria, Nigeria, China, India, Canada by blackmails.
It seemes like in the time of USSR. Russia didnt change for another collapse being low and counterproductive.
Its makes it even more difficult, if russians bloack thats strait.
i dont talk for EU even being a member, but I only can see that as Ukraine and Russia having a lot of problems and Russia are blocking it even more.
Its also – of course – about the boycut of Russia. It seemes forgotten.
Not bad for USA to have a “colony” just as big as themselves and 5 times bigger then Russia.
We name it as “World Economy”, the not Engells or Muhammed one. Some long list for Your succes compared to be a “colony of USA”, would be nice.
Putin is getting his panties all twisted around Ukraine. How does he get out of this mess? Butt licker Obama is gone and Trump is pouring billions of lethal military aid into Ukraine. Russian troops and ethnic Russians will be killed in large numbers over the next 10-20 years. No US or Nato troops will die. If the whole Russian GDP was dedicated to the military it still could not compete with the quickly increasing NATO, US and China military budgets. Putin is too proud to bend over for XI so where does he go?
and then you wake up in the psychiatric ward and recollect all the bullshit you were saying in your dreams
Nothing new.
EU raising questions, crying over their latest refugee plan didnt work either, discuss their travel problems to/from/in Brussel and appoint new stupid councils and envoys after stupid resolutions written by Washington.
Of course we do. Thats a part of the big trade making the many new countries.
