The European Parliament has approved a resolution, calling for interruption of talks on Turkey’s accession to the EU, at a plenary session in Strasbourg. Actions of the Turkish authorities were pointed out as a reason for such a decision.

At an announcement of voting results it was reported that “the resolution as a whole has been approved.”

Last week, head of the European diplomacy Federica Mogherini expressed a grave concern about events in Turkey on behalf of the 28 EU member states. According to Mogherini, first of all, they mean a possible cancellation of the moratorium on a death penalty, restrictions of free speech and media.

According to the Praym news agency, the EU has repeatedly stated that Ankara’s behavior calls into question its striving to join the EU. President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz even proposed to impose sanctions against Turkey due to ongoing detentions of oppositional activists and journalists in the country.

Turkey applied for membership in the EU in 1987. Negotiations on Turkey’s accession to the EU began in 2005. In March of this year, the negotiations on Turkey’s accession to the EU was intensified in exchange for a consent of the country’s authorities to help to reduce a flow of migrants, moving through its territory to the EU.

Now lets see how highly the EU values democracy. My guess, not highly at all.

The EU has no mandate on foreign policy, so this parliamentary approval by the EU parliament is irrelevant to the decisions of the Council of Ministers. With respect to foreign policy the council of ministers operates as a coordinating body for cooperation between sovereign member states. In 2005 French and Dutch referendums rejected a EU constitution. In the wake of that rejection many more states simply cancelled their own planned referendum. So their is no legitimate basis for any further integration. The Lisbon treaty was designed to circumvent and cover up that very lack. So what we have now is every member state selecting a EU commission member. An EU commission preparing legislation and the governments of the member states approving that legislation in the council of ministers. And yes the European parliament may advise the council of ministers. That’s no democracy but political incest. This way governments often agree to create legislation through the EU in order to initially avoid the national parliaments. When approved through the EU those same governments sell it to their national parliaments often using the line of reasoning that one member state should not stand in the way of progress supposedly resulting from that EU legislation.

So the EU is annoyed at Turkey because of their restrictions on free speech and not allowing the EU to control their media. However nothing is mentioned of the illegal invasion of a neighbouring state. They are all blind and stupid in Brussels. All they see is the NWO, such is the life of a minion.

People of Turkey, you were never meant to join the EU as it was never in EU plans to let you. Ukraine is falling for the same trick. But fear not because the EU has a shelf life and the mold has already begun, so it won’t be around much longer.
