On January 6, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
16 of the videos show a series of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including other drones, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Notably, one of the videos shows a strike with a Lancet loitering munition on a Ukrainian-made NOTA electronic warfare system.
Another video shows a series of attacks with TOS thermobaric rocket launchers that targeted Ukrainian fortifications near the settlement of Taraturino in the Sumy direction, as well as close to the settlements of Staritsa and Volchanskie Khutory in the Kharkiv direction.
One more video from Kharkiv, shows recent airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs on positions of Kiev forces in Volchanskie Khutory.
In its daily briefing, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “storage areas of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations in 158 areas” over the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defenses shot down two guided bombs, two HIMARS projectiles, and at least 360 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 107,929 drones, 643 air defense systems, 26,951 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,636 multiple rocket launchers, 32,415 artillery pieces, and 50,955 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
