Early on July 2, Malek Ashtar base of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was reportedly hit by at least two explosions.
The London-based Iran International shared a video on social media of the reported explosions at the base that is located to the southeast of the Iranian capital, Tehran.
Iranian official media and websites affiliated with the IRGC ignored the reports. However, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK) claimed responsibility for the alleged explosions. In a statement, the group said that the explosions were orchestrated by what it called “revolutionary cells”.
The MEK, which used large-scale violence in the 1980s and 1990s, is designated by Iran as a terrorist group. In 1997, the group was listed by the US as a “foreign terrorist organization,” but was removed from the list in 2012.
This was not the first time explosions were reported at key Iranian military installations this year. On May 25, several explosions rocked the highly-secretive Parchin military complex, which is located to the southeast of Tehran. The explosions, which claimed the life of mechanical engineer Ehsan Qadbeigi, were later revealed to be the result of an attack with suicide drones. The Israeli intelligence was unofficially blamed for the attack.
The alleged explosions at the IRGC’s Malek Ashtar base may be nothing but a propaganda stunt, or a new attack by the Israeli intelligence in which the MEK was used as a cover.

It created such a reaction that all anti-Iran groups abroad, even the monarchists criticized (verbally attacked is a better word) the network for siding with a terror group. And the network is notorious for publishing fakes and wishful thinking, if you watch it you’d think there’s a civil war going on here and everywhere is in ruins and all the population are looking for food in the garbage (they don’t say how there are so much bountiful heaps of garbage if the population is so hungry). The point is, one needs a more credible source than “Hawar on steroids”, If some domestic source says something about a bang or a bit of smoke or something, then we can assume something happened.
Anyway, the mentioned base is not directly an IRGC base and belongs to Basij, located inside the capital in a populous neighbourhood. If something happened there, the news can’t be suppressed and at least the social media should’ve been flooded with various pics and films and local and national news would say something about it (we don’t have anything remotely like IDF’s gag orders).
It’s smells of BS, and I posted my opinion on this, Southfront is really dropping the ball on this fake news. If an attack on this scale was really carried out in Iran, the middle-east would be at war now. No confirmation from other news sites both MSM or Alternative.

Again Southfront none of this is confirmed by other news sites, even alternative sites don’t confirm such events. Video’s of explosions could be from any ware, I’m sorry but if such attacks of that scale where taking place inside Iran, then there would be retaliation already in the form of missiles directly at Israel. They aren’t bots but real people posting those scam links. Have you not noticed SF banned links and some words? To walk around those you just write one word and edit right after, that way you can link and say anything you want. (I have done it). However, SF knows about it and they are “fixing it” by hiding/deleting comments. That takes time, at one point SF was deleting scammer comments but they stop doing it and I can understand why.
Also, pls tell me you didn’t use your real email on this site, you don’t need to and it is best to not use your real email on-site like SF. Use a fake email or temporary one, both work.
