Thanks to your wide-scale public support, on April 14 Facebook uncernsored SF’s website and restored all the deleted posts and videos.
SF recalls:
- On April 13 Facebook banned SF’s website, deleted all posts with links to it as well as deleted all SF videos uploaded in 2018;
- Since the start of the week, southfront.org has been repeatedly attacked;
- The censorship of SF on Facebook and the attacks on the website took place amid a large-scale escalation in Syria and followed an announcement of the expanding Facebook censorship campaign by Mark Zuckerberg.
When SF was censored on Facebook, we noted that this may be a part of military preparations ahead of a new big conflict. The chances that SF will be once again censored on Facebook if the escalation in Syria develops further remain high.
