Over 100 Syrian soldiers trained by Russian military advisors near Damascus were deployed in the Tyas Airbase in the province of Homs, according to pro-government sources.
The deployed fighters were members of the so-called “Fifth Attack Troop Corps” which formation was announced on November 22, 2016.
Members The Fifth Attack Troop Corps is trained and allegedly equipped and paid by Russia.
