Late on October 27, al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the de-facto ruler of the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib, ended its military campaign against Jund Allah after reaching an agreement with the group’s terrorist leader Abu Fatimah al-Turki.
Jund Allah is a Jihadi group made up mostly of Azerbaijanis based mainly in the Turkmen mountain in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
HTS launched a military campaign against Jund Allah on October 25, after accusing the group of sheltering wanted Jihadists from al-Qaeda-affiliated Horas al-Din and ISIS.
The fighting in the al-Turkmen mountain claimed the lives of 26 militants of Jund Allah and at least eight militants of HTS, according to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Under the newly-brokered agreement, Jund Allah released a number of HTS militants who were captured during the fighting. In exchange, HTS allowed Abu Fatimah al-Turki and his militants to leave Greater Idlib.

According to some Syrian opposition sources, Jund Allah will be moving to the Turkish-occupied area of Afrin in the northern countryside of Aleppo. In the last few years, the area became a safe haven for terrorists and fugitives.
Infamous terrorist leader Muslim Abu Walid al Shishani who supported Jund Allah along with his group, Jund al-Sham, left the northern Lattakia countryside two days ago after reaching a similar agreement with HTS. He is reportedly still in Greater Idlib.
The battel against Jund Allah and Jund al-Sham led to a serious backlash in Greater Idlib against HTS. However, there is no doubt that the outcome of the battle was in favor of the terrorist group, which will likely continue to rule over the region with an iron fist.
HTS wants to appease the West and other islamic countries like Turkey, Iran or Saudi Arabia.
What an ignorant comment. Adjust your off hours algorithms to “less stupid” mode.
Whatever Icarus. All of you are Icarus.
I did
Too stupid to “I did”. Nice try swine.
Look at my name!
Fighting has only “ended” for two groups of western paid, terrorist degenerates. The SAA & Russians will continue to exterminate the extremist trash at will.
