On Thursday, Faylaq al-Rahman claimed in an official statement that Jaysh al-Islam had attacked its positions in Al Aftaris and al Mohamdiah farms in the Eastern Ghouta region.
Faylaq al-Rahman also claimed that Jaysh al-Islam attack coincided with an attack of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in Jobar district and Ayn Tarma area east of Damascus.
“Jaysh al-Islam lost its credibility … its conspiracies on the revolution and rebels and its open war on them become clear,” Faylaq al-Rahman statement said.
Spokesperson for Faylaq al-Rahman Waiel Olwan claimed that Jaysh al-Islam captured 40 Faylaq al-Rahman fighters during the attack.
Jaysh al-Islam spokesperson Hamza Berkdar announced that Jaysh al-Islam repelled an attack of Faylaq al-Rahman and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) on its positions in Masraba and al-Ashari towns in Eastern Ghouta.
Berkdar revealed that Faylaq al-Rahman and HTS killed two leaders of Jaysh al-Islam Marwan al-Nakshbandi “Abu al-Noor al-Taia’ar” and Ehssan Layla “Abu Mahmmod 07” on August 15.
Meanwhile, a report of the Syrian newspaper “al-Watan” claimed that Faylaq al-Rahman might join the de-escalation agreement in Eastern Ghouta.
However, a military source told al-Watan that there is no official information about this yet.
“We didn’t receive anything about this, we will continued to fight al-Nusra –HTS- and Faylaq al-Rahman until we receive a different orders”.
May the garbage keep killing each other.
Ayp has killed ayp!
Apes.
Falayq-al Rahman has joined the ceasefire, just not the one embedded with HTS in East Ghouta which may actually be an Al Qaeda affiliate.
