UPDATE: PM Ariel Henry declares a state of emergency after a powerful quake hits Haiti’s southwest, killing at least 304 people, and injuring at least 1,800.
On August 14, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck Haiti.
According to the United States Geological Survey, it struck five miles from the town of Petit Trou de Nippes in the western part of the country. The town is located about 80 miles west of the capital of Haiti, Port-au-Prince. The quake was felt 200 miles away.
The exact number of casualties is unknown yet. A tsunami threat remains in some coasts.

Haiti is often suffering from major earthquakes and other disasters. In 2010 a 7.0 magnitude earthquake killed more than 220,000 people. The southern peninsula is still recovering from Hurricane Matthew that took place in 2016.
Another threat for the country’s stability was the assassination of President Jovenel Moise on July 7th.
I believe Hillary is setting up a fund to help where anyone can contribute as much as they can and Chelsea will make sure it goes to those most in need … such as someone who is not getting large donations from Saudi Arabia anymore.
