After a military defeat in the battle for the Douma district of Eastern Ghouta, Jaish al-Islam militants released a first group of hostages, mostly women, late on April 8.

According to the Syrian state-run news agency SANA, the most of the hostages were captured by militants in the city of Adraa in 2013. Since then, they had been held in the militant-held town of Douma.

The state-run media outlet added (source):

[SANA] correspondent added that after the bus which carries abductees on board got out of Douma, five buses carrying scores of “Jaish al-Islam” terrorists on board and their families exited the city in a step towards transporting them later to Jarablos area.

The correspondent stressed that the process of liberating the abductees comes in line with the process of evacuating terrorists and their families till liberating all the abductees and evacuating all terrorists and consequently declaring Douma as a city free of terrorism.

Meanwhile, a first group of Jaish al-Islam militants also left the area of Douma. A second group of militants is expected to left the area on April 9.

Following a full withdrawal of militants from Douma, government forces will establish a full control of the area.

With this filth gone the Syrian government can finally allow for a honest investigation of the socalled chemical attack. One where the Jihadis and their White Hats aren’t in control of the socalled crime scene.

You can call me Al

Why don’t they stop the buses and interrogate the vermin “old style” and find the facts ?, then dismember the fers.

Villainess

I believe the Syrian Government may be attempting to provide a future hope of peace that includes those that chose to fight against it. The U.S., with all our warmongering militarization, Global Empire Dreams and hungry military-industrial complex, would never think to attempt such a plan.

You can call me Al

Very good point regards the future hope of peace.

I am not sure how that could happen in the near future though. Many of my ancestors and indeed the same on the opposing side absolutely despised the Germans and Japanese and vice versa – until and including their last breath.

War is a terrible thing even when played by the rules; Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan plus many others are vile and show the worst part of mankind if you imagine what these people have gone through.

But I hope you are right in that it is achievable.
