Yepp, Anti tank missiles are also much, much cheaper than kamikaze drones BUT these drones can fly a lot longer and be remotely operated which makes them lethal.

In theory it’s supposed to attack the thin top armor of the tank, but the area that it’s supposed to hit is extremely small, and especially on soviet tanks, and as we saw in this video, it hits at an angle, so it ended up hitting the thickest part of the tank: the turret front.
It probably destroyed the tank anyway, but depends on which variant of the T-72 it was, The Spike-LR has 700 mm of penetration.
The tank didn’t have any reactive armor at all, and looked like a T-72A so it was probably penetrated anyway. A T-72B would have been a tougher nut to crack, especially if it had Kontakt-5 reactive armour.
Azerbajan have lost 3000 soldiers ( 2787+100 still missing+200 syrian terrorist)…..but Armenians dont have cameras to take pictures….but it would be the same…AZ tanks and personal hited by ATGM, artillery explosions close to AZ soldiers, Toshka/Smerch missile smashing AZ trenchs with troops inside…I watched a video and just in an openfield near Martuni capital 500 AZ soldiers lost his life in an NK ambush using T-72 tanks and Mettis ATGM…both with thermal cameras…enabling NK army to preserve Martuni!

Exactly what I said. Armenia probably lost like 3-4k soldiers, maybe even 5k. Azerbaijan lost 3-4k soldiers of their own and over 500 Syrian mercenaries. The difference here is that Armenia doesn’t have camera equipped drones to film. Of course Azerbaijan won this war, with help of Turkey, but people underestimate Azeri losses a lot.
Israeli weapon pride, I shot few of them myself on filthy terrorists. Never missed.
Meanwhile 5 Israeli Harop were shot down by Iran air defense close to its borders…that drones “missed” the border maps…
I didn’t know ATGMs had cameras and transmitted live footage….
