The war in Ukraine is escalating amid the possible freezing of the conflict in the coming months. The Kiev regime is ramping up strikes and terrorist operations in Russia’s rear regions, provoking Russian retaliatory actions on the battlefields and devastating strikes on the Ukrainian capital and strategically important sites throughout the country.
The escalation is not limited to the exchange of massive strikes. Troops from both sides are preparing for large-scale ground operations. According to information coming from the front lines, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are going to make another offensive attempt, probably across the border, and attack Russian territory again. Despite the lack of any results and their heavy losses in the Kursk region.

The resumption of Russian attacks near the city of Kherson suggest that the Russian military may undertake large-scale offensive operations in this southern region. Their foothold at the Antonovsky Bridge may become a springboard for the upcoming assault on the city and villages nearby. According to unconfirmed reports, North Korean military personnel have arrived in the Kherson region to support Russia’s offensive operations. The foreign soldiers are unlikely to participate in hand-to-hand combat, but their units can strengthen Russian rear positions.
After all the bridges were destroyed as a result of heavy fighting year ago, including the largest one of Antonovsky, and the military positions of the warring sides were strengthened during several months of positional battles, any assault operations across the Dnieper River are heavily complicated.
