Personnel of the Russian Airborne Forces performed a group parachute jump in the Arctic from an altitude of 10,000 metres, a never-before accomplished feat.

“For the first time in world history, we conducted a group landing of personnel using special parachute systems in Arctic conditions from a height of 10,000 meters using oxygen equipment and subsequently completed combat training missions. Nobody has done this before,” Deputy Defence Minister Yunus-Bek Evkurov said adding that the paratroopers used a “next-generation special-purpose parachute system”.

The Polar bears won’t know what hit them, serves them right for joining ICES

Zionism = EVIL

Russian kit and weaponry is first rate now, perhaps the most practical and effective in the world. The Arctic has been a Russian front door since eternity and should be protected from dying greedy Americunt jackals.

AM Hants

What are you on about?

Which is the only nation in the world to send ground samples of the Arctic shelf to the UN, for DNA analysis? To substantiate their claim to the Arctic Shelf using scientific data and facts.

Why did the US never ratify the ‘Law of the Sea Convention’? Remember, it applies International Law to the Arctic Seas/Oceans.

How many nuclear ice breakers and mobile units does Russia have and how many ice breakers, in working order, does the US have? How many portable, nuclear power plants does the US have?

Why is Mike Pompeo trying to irradicate Russian and Chinese nuclear technology, in his lust for sanctions?

Why can’t the US compete on a level playing field?

How much do the US, UK, EU, ‘5 Eye’ nations and NATO spend anti-Russia, media, disinformation trolls? Why are the tax payers, who finance those trolls, ignorant of the fact?

Was that post for somebody else?

Because I agree with your comment 99.999%

But my joke/comment was a play on ISIS – ICES

Also there was a side note the simple fact that NO army NONE can keep an effective miltary deterrent with functioning equipment for prolonged periods within the Artic circle the geographical conditions and draw backs make it neither economical or effective

AM Hants

Sorry, sometimes it is easy to misread a comment or lose sarcasm in translation.

Wonder if International Secret Intelligence Service can function on ice, haha?

Nice… Russia is always one step ahead in the arctic

Zionism = EVIL

They need to be as the Americunt greedy cunts are waiting to get their hands on the last frontier for the Jew parasitic corporations to exploit and destroy. They have already fucked up the Arabs, Latins and Africans and stolen all their resources.

Zionism = EVIL

First rate RATNIK (warrior) Arctic suits, perhaps Russia should sell some to the dumbass moron Trump so that he can inject bleach and open the deadbeat Americunt economy after shining a UV light up their lardass.

AM Hants

I do love watching Russian Forces, in action. For some reason I find them strangely calming and relaxing. Especially when the US is trying to turn Greenland into Ukraine 2014.

Zionism = EVIL

Yep, the dopey Danes have always been patsy cunts and now Greenland will turn into a Americunt rapist outpost like Okinawa and watch the crimes against the native Inuit skyrocket.

Assad must stay

russia must stop it

AM Hants

Can see that happening, especially when Denmark was so willing to go along with the MH17 script, blaming Russia, with no evidence or willing to listen to the evidence, providing facts.

Assad must stay

wow truly interesting!

Those clothes look warm. I prefer a hood. Especially with wind. Buying a deep snow mountain sled and cross country skis for contact work is on my to do list.

Russians still think it’s the Battle of Stalingrad 1942.

Bob

Battle of Stalingrad was a desperate pitched urban battle fought by Soviet era conscripts, who prevailed and halted the Wehrmacht central advance east before the Volger River in the, then, Soviet Union. And yes, the Soviet’s did win the pivotal battle of WWII. Meanwhile, this is report of modern elite Russian airborne corps training at extreme heights, and extreme landscape conditions that are relatively close-by to Russian territory. So, when did you last join an elite military corp and engage in extreme training over the Artic Circle? Reality check: envy is not a pretty emotional state to reside in – it is a sub-category of anger and resentment toward those achieving more than you.

<>

I’ve done my part at the Navy, I have nothing to be jealous of them. It’s just a show of force to the U.S and other NATO members, as if they will invade via the Arctic. Russia always has paranoias that someone wants to invade and take their land, but no one really threatens them with any ground assault. Meanwhile, I see Russian forces and Iranian forces working side by side, with the Russian army even intercepts some of our missiles against IRGC targets. I don’t have any love for Russia I admit, maybe one day they can prove me wrong.

Silviu Costea

In the lat years they show lots of superiority to NATO. Well, just accept the facts, youre history.

<>

I don’t feel like history. I actually see a bright future for Israel – but first we need to make sure our enemies are defeated in the upcoming regional war.

Bob

Strongly suspect Russian’s couldn’t much care less for your opinion of them. Period. Meanwhile, lose the anger based envy – perhaps try some therapy.

SnowCatzor

Must have been damn cold doing that.
