The Russian state-run TV channel Rossiya 25 has released a video showing the moment when Syrian forces were crossing the Euphreates River near Deir Ezzor city.

According to the report, government troops crossed to the eastern bank of the Euphrates River and liberated few villages there. The advance is ongoing.

Evgeny Poddubnyy is a fine example of what true journalism supposed to be – always on front lines, on the ground, filming and reporting whats going on.

Wahid Algiers

No cowardly western msm liar.

Barba_Papa

Well, in all fairness, I don’t think Assad is a saint and all rebels are Jihadi scum. I’m sure there are legitimate rebels out there who want to fight for freedom. But after 6 years of war there’s no telling how crazy those fuckers have become. They may think Western journalist, finally a chance to tell our side of the story. Or they may sell me to some Jihadi headchoppers. There’s not enough money in the world to pay me to go to ‘rebel’ held territory. At least Assad, brutal dictator though he may be, understands the need of getting good PR. And any journalist visiting government held territory will at least be able to leave on his own choosing afterwards.

John

iN ALL FAIRNESS, TOO, IT IS THE WEST THAT IS CALLING ASSAD A “BRUTAL DICTATOR” BUT CAN WE BELIEVE ANYTHING FROM THE WEST? I DON’T, AND I LIVE IN THE WEST. THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM SUPPORTING A CHILD KILLER LIKE NETANYAHU OF ISRAEL BUT, THEN AGAIN, THE WEST IS RUN AND OWNED BY ISRAEL. LIKE MOST FAIR MINDED PEOPLE, I JUST WANT TO SEE PEACE . . .FOR ALL. AFTER ALL, IT IS NOT THE LAME BRAIN POLITICIANS WHO SUFFER BUT THE INNOCENT. WAS BUSH, CHENEY, RUMSFELD, THATCHER, PINOCHET, OBAMA NOT BRUTAL? AND TO BE SURE, IT WAS THEY WHO HAVE CREATED THIS WHOLE SUFFERING MESS. AND I MIGHT ADD . . .FOR WHAT? AND IF MR. ASSAD IS SO DEVILISH BAD WHY DID OVER NINETY PERCENT OF THE SYRIAN PEOPLE VOTE HIM BACK INTO POWER?

Nigel Maund

The fact of the matter is this: “We can believe absolutely nothing from the Western MSM Corporately owned media. It is 100% lies, BS and propaganda for their own neferious agenda.” I wouldn’t believe the Western Media is they told me the sun was shining!

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Well the western media is saying that the sun shines out of their asses, and they know best.

wwinsti

Brutal dictator you say? Is he the one who chopped of the heads of 143 prisoners without a trial by peers/council? Oh no, sorry, that was King Salman of SA, a US ally, I get them so confused! You must mean the one who approved of a bunch of facist thugs setting a building full of trapped Ukranian anti-government protesters on fire without prosecution, is that the one?!? No?? I’m so sorry, I just can’t seem to keep them all straightend out! Maybe it’s the one who sends bulldozers to demolish hundreds of Palestinian homes every year, all to build new homes for those democracy loving Zionists from Tel-Aviv? No? I missed again? Oh, maybe it’s that guy who has proof of a US Pentagon/state department conspiracy to up end 7 mideast countries in 5 years, the one who’s been fighting a US created ISIS for 8 years, the one who was paid by the CIA after 9-11 to torture Afghan jehadists until gimo bay was turned into a concentration camp, and can name names in a court of international law if it comes down to that. Would THAT be the brutal dictator you are speaking of?

Because if that’s the guy you’re calling a brutal dictator, I’m afraid I’ll have to disagree with you. Once the US deep state gets all that régime change jizz off it’s face, will consider listening to it’s platitudes once more. Sadly, that will involve war crimes trials of several western leaders.

wwinsti

Sorry John, my reply was meant for barba_papa, not you.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They actually found them to be executed before they were burned some suffered and did from smoke inhalation , bodies were moved and they had Kerosene poured on the faces and upper bodies were only burned on some. The Right Sektor were involved in the killings, two of the Kiev politicians were active participants in the mass killings.

Solomon Krupacek

syria was alwys hard country. the whola assad family was brutal. always. that is true. but i want him, beacuse he protect us, european before jihadists.

roger temple

90% of the Syrian people can’t be wrong. Anyway, Assad is neither a dictator nor a brute. Listen to members of the opposition in the government of national unity elected during 2015. There are things to change or improve but – in their words – nothing worth a revolution, and certainly not worth the destruction of the country.

Rüdiger Preiss

Assad is as much a “brutal dictator” as Trump is a Saint.

alejoeisabel

No “rebel” who is a paid pawn of a foreign power is legitimate. The Kurds best hope is to become a vassal state of Israel. There is no legitimacy in offering vassalage to foreign powers.

Tudor Miron

Brutal dictator… say who? MSM? If freely elected president of Surya is brutal dictator than who are those that dropped a nuclear bomb on civilians in Japan?

Solomon Krupacek

is elected, but hi si not angel. like gaddafi.

Tudor Miron

No, he is not an angel and he wasn’t supposed to be one. Kaddafi wasn’t either. But while they were in power Libia had highest living standards in ME. Surya was a secular state where many nations and different religions were coexisting in PEACE. Now those who call them dictators are much worse – hiding under lies about values they are bringing haos, terror and pain to us humans. Yes, Solomon, despite what talmud is telling you, we are HUMANS first. Any ideplogy that promotes anequality, dividing people by race, skin color etc. is obviously anti human. Those that torture (figuratively speaking) the very fine values (western) by using them to fool sheeple into obeying to their evil doings don’t have a right to call themself human. They are canser corroding the body of humanity.

Wahid Algiers

Well spoken. The democrates want to make us believe that a dictatorship is bad in any case. That is wrong. Some states/nations drive better with a “strong” man. Your examples underline that.

Moussa Saab

If anything, Syria had a much better country than any Western country. Their is no possible way Assad can have support from the entire country and stop the CIA rooted revolution, but he definitely did the best he can.

Solomon Krupacek

This is bulshit. Syria was much less developed west-european countfries. i was in syria, i know it.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Yes and every President and Western politician Brutal Tyrants they actually are seem so saintly with their totalitarian regime change ideology. The Jihadists were made that way (sounds like SJW talk),and not had their own ambitions along with the imperialists, give me a break.

The US and the Imperialists have used “P.R.strategy”, “Propaganda Rationalizing strategy” so easy to blind many this way. There never has been any sane rationality being applied in this conflict as they go to great lengths to make you feel sympathy and empathy for these terrorist groups.

Just never bought into any of the “PR” as this is sounded to much like bad sales pitches like “Bait and switch” nonsense. The Media has been embellishing and outright lying in many cases about facts. This has been a problem since 1956 when they were all asked to sign a treaty and create the anti Russian Hysteria then and US/NATO decided it was a good idea to use on all their opponents.

That’s why we see so much well developed propaganda, Hollyweird did warn everyone with the Movie “Wag the Dog” and others movies hence and since that time.

Its so good news. Congratulation to all members of SAA and their allies that they have crossed Euphrates river and now advancing in Deir Ezzor to take whole land from US backed terrorists but be careful from American terrorist coalition airstrikes.

George Fotiadis

They really did it, for me it looks that they are heading for the oil fields first. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/176f014f339a18867aa418293aa60707187616f7477d0887b7e68e18299e72ff.jpg it

MeMadMax

They have to setup a more secure beachhead first in case the kurds decide to attack. Taking control of the road first is a blocking maneuver but will only last so long of course.

heydad

I’m familiar with Syria live maps but what maps are these?

George Fotiadis

Barba_Papa

If they’re smart they’ll leave the oil fields and go north east to As Suwar, then the Iraq border. The oil fields can come later. First the SDF needs to be bottled up so they can’t cause any problems. I don’t think there’s a snowball’s chance in hell that the Kurds will attack, because that would cause problems between the US and Russia. That’s the one thing that has kept both sides from attacking each other so far. They both have a powerful sugardaddy. So instead both sides have gone for grabbing strategic real estate to keep it out of the hands of the other side. It’s like that car race game from the movie TRON, where you cannot cross each other’s path, but by moving ahead you can block the other car.

So in that sense the smart money is on As Suwar, then the Iraqi border.

WinstonSmith

Excellent, on to keep recapturing all the land fallen to US-led terrorists and mercenaries.

Wahid Algiers

To get the main platoons on the other side it needs several ponton bridges with fortified bridgeheads to ensure a secure and steady supply line. The work at the eastern side of Euphrates will take some time and we want all heroes to be provided very well in weapons, amo and nutrition. The air cover will be given otherwise they won’ t cross.

55lanfag

Russian forces and the Tiger Forces should definitely paradrop from Deir Ez-Zor into those oil fields, secure them before anything else. If the Kurds attack Deir Ez-Zor, they’ll get stomped, meanwhile mobile forces rush to the oil fields to relieve the paradropped forces and secure ground supply lines for them.

Kell

Risky but if they did seize the fields that would remove any motivation for the SDF to move South, they could then sit where they are getting chipped away at by IS.

Behold a Pale Horse

Brilliant!!

hvaiallverden

Again, tsk, tsk, tsk, why do you think we easily recognize shit heads, aka Yankikes so easily, because like the Joojos and their hangarounds, they tend, I ges its an trend not an brain-damage, that you forget to tell us all the whole story, boy. About the constant propaganda about this Syrian dictator ships, and skips the rest.

Yeah, do enlighten us about why Syria have done things in the past and why, by whom, boy, take as far back as ww2, huh, attacking Syria, to the present scums paid by your scumbag Gov.

So I leave it there.

Nigel Maund

Speed is of the essence here to keep the enemy (SDF) and US as much off balance as possible. However, the flanks have to be secured and ground to air missiles and KORNET’s (TOW’s) brought in to deal with the lavishly (US – CIA) equipped SDF. I agree with 55lanfag’s commens that that fast moving special forces or parachutists need to be brought in the secure the important oil fields. These troops will need air dropped light vehicles and KORNET’s and MANPAD’s or their equivalent to deter the USAF or Navy aircraft. RuAF MiG 29’s may also have to provide cover.

General Surena

WHAT ARE THEY (KURDS) DOİNG HERE..?. HERE İS SYRİAN OWN LAND. THEY WİLL BE A LOSER HERE …BADLY

General Surena

SYRİA-RUSSİA-İRAN AN HEZBOLLAH WİLL FUCKED EVERY FORCES HERE.. wait and see

alejoeisabel

The Syrians are the true heros of the Arab world. They almost single handedly have defeated the most vile and servile elements of United States/Nato/Israel imperialism. Bashar Assad is truly the most popular and loved leader of the Arab world in our current generation.

RamboDave

The SAA has no intention of capturing the Omar oil fields right now. All they have to do is cut off the SDF-Kurds from getting there. The SAA is heading toward al-Suwar. This is located in an adjoining river valley directly Northeast, called the Khabur river, which flows down to the Euphrates South of Deir Ez-Zor. The area has some oil and is an agricultural region.

Howevever, the US Coalition also probably intends to come down from the North along that same valley. They have been bombing South of al Shaddaday along the Khabur river.

Thegr8rambino

why cant they just airdrop some troops in to omar oilfields?

Baudouin Jérusalem

Thanks God, SAA could by crossing the Euphrates stop land grabbing by US SDF !

Everyone needs to get into position for the coming war with the Kurd’s. The Kurd’s remember, are the ones who committed the Armenian Genocide.

John Brown

Like I said Russia has amphibious vehicles to cross rivers, trucks, BMPs tanks etc.

Moussa Saab

It only gets better, at this rate SAA will defenitely make it first to the oil fields, but you never know from which direction! SAA is very good at deception and their strategy causes a lot of confusion to their rivals. They have mastered ‘Art of War’.

Thegr8rambino

i just watched a gopro video of daesh scumbags getting blown up by SAA tank, it was rather disturbing, and hilarious at how they are freaking out, but boy am i sure glad they are all dead!!! LOL!

Moussa Saab

It does really feel disturbing that, these Daesh scumbags, are human. They had family, they have emotions, and were just ordinary people until the U.S came into iraq and Syria. Now they are just heartless, brain-washed, drugged, U.S tools. It is good that they are dead too, just saves them from more suffering to the Syrians/Iraqis/World and themselves.

Thegr8rambino

Yes exactly!! I kinda felt bad for them for a brief moment, it was much different seeing it on camera, rather than reading about it in news. But this is war: people die, and it was their turn. And i am glad it was them rather than some SAA men. And that is that!
