Following a bombing that targeted one of its checkpoints in the city of Idlib, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) executed twelve ISIS members of ISIS in the morning of January 20.
“The sanction was carried out in the same place they targeted with a booby-trapped car driven by one of their suicide attackers,” Anas al-Sheikh, a security official in HTS, told the radical group’s news network, Iba’a.

The suicide bombing, which occurred two days ago, targeted the al-Mutalq checkpoint in the southern entrance of Idlib’s city center. More than 15 people, including militants of HTS, were killed in the attack.
According to Iba’a, HTS’ security forces arrested three of the attack perpetrators during an operation in the town of Sarmin in the southeastern Idlib countryside. The operation was carried out a few hours before the execution.
These developments indicate that ISIS’ influence in the opposition-held part of northwestern Syria is still strong, despite HTS’ attempts to eliminate it.

That’s right, just shoot them before they can spill the beans, they look more like Turks than Arabs to me, the way they’re dressed, hairstyles and beards, I wonder if they really are Isis fighters. HTS must of shaved most of their heads too, and it was only hours after they were captured until they were shot, I would think HTS would have better things to do than shave prisoners heads just before they execute them.

I don’t think Al Nusra does much in the way of due process. So I wonder how many of these guys are actual ISIS headchoppers, or just regular headchoppers, or even innocent bystanders Al Nusra picked up to make a quick arrest and execution.
