The Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have continued military operations in Damascus’ Western Ghouta region, targeting Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian al-Qaeda branch) and its allies in the town of Khan al-Sheih.
Earlier this week, the government forces made an attempt to make an agreement with the militants to allow them to withdraw from the city to the province of Idlib. However, this idea resulted in a falure and lead to further escalation in the area.
Yesterday, the army and the NDF seized a key farms northeast of Khan al-Sheih and deployed in a striking distance from the militant stronghold.
I watched the Palestinians in the neighborhood in Aleppo, and dont deliver me any bullshit and nonsense but this people, they are good, and why on earth aren’t they given a some more of the heaver duty weponds, one tank would make the difference.
Just a little would help, when the enemy is in known and openly seen in various location and in buildings you need something that kicks thru the walls, witch are basically bricks. An rifle is no match, except thin walls, but an little but more and it stops.
Otherwise, now you know why, the IDF got kicked out of Gaza and that within 3 days.. They are Palestinians.
peace
good point. liwa al quds are becoming bigger and more important. they are one of the few great offensive forces among the pro government fighters. they often take part in dangerous operations as an offensive unit. may be they should not be given heavy amors to operate by them selves but at least they should be given constant heavy amor back up from regular troops. it’s not like the government is not caring because the weapons like firearms, missiles etc are being provided by the government. so let’s hope the government manages to provide the liwa al quuds with constant heavy amor back up.
