Forces of the Government of National Accord (GNA) have recaptured the area of Sabiah from the Libyan National Army (LNA) in southern Tripoli.

The recent advance of the GNA forces did not make significant impact on the general situation near the city. However, it demonstrates that the LNA had fully lost momentum gained during the first phases of push towards Tripoli and is now mostly focused on efforts to secure the gained ground.
Had read a couple of days ago that ‘some’, USMC had been deployed to GNA. Wonder if this is connected.
