In what may seem like news from a parallel universe, the al-Qaeda-affiliated Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP) has complained about ceasefire violations by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the Greater Idlib region.
A source in the terrorist group told the Iba’a network that the army launched an attack on the towns of Fleifel, Sufuhon and Fatterah in the southern Idlib countryside in the early hours of March 6.
“By the grace of God Almighty, more than 30 members of the Russian occupation militia were killed in their latest attempt to storm Fleifel and dozens were wounded by the Mujahedeen, the source said.
Heavy clashes broke out in southern Idlib a few minutes into the new ceasefire. However, no ground attack by the army was reported.
The TIP, which has more than 3,000 Uyghurs fighters, is occupying many areas in northwest Idlib, northern Lattakia and northwest Hama. The terrorist group is one of the few close allies of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS).
Russian President Vladimir Punting and his Turkish Counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan agreed on the ceasefire during a meeting in Moscow on March 5. The ceasefire doesn’t grant immunity to terrorist groups, let alone foreign ones like the TIP.
The TIP’s statement is a blatant attempt to mistranslate the new Russian-Turkish agreement, which condemns terrorist groups in Greater Idlib.

They are turkic people who speak a close version of turkish and given the fact that their numbers with their family memberd is less than 20k therefore Turkey will easily accept them as immigrant rather than sending them to China , Sinciang, where chinese will not be happy to welcome them. No ones interest but the way the Turkish Government is heading, that is the likely result. These are political laws that were written before we learnt to write. Look up the fist fight in Turkish Parliament this week. If each member represents a portion of the population then you can see what percentage of the population is unhappy. Now compare that to SAA’s parliament!
I’d suggest it is in the interest of the same people that produced a map of a Middle East that assists the ambitions of Israel as the dominant power.
