The Air Defense Force of the Iranian military shot down early on November 8 an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) near the port city of port city of Mahshahr in the southern province of Khuzestan.
The incident was confirmed by Gholamreza Shariati, governor of Khuzestan, who revealed that the UAV belonged to a foreign country.
“The downed drone definitely belonged to a foreign country. Its wreckage has been recovered and is being investigated,” Shariati told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
The semi-official Tasnim News Agency also confirmed the incident, claiming the mysterious UAV was shot down with the Iranian Mersad air-defense system. The system is a domestically developed variant of the U.S.-made MIM-23 Hawk, which was supplied to the Iranian military during the Shah era.
According to Fox News’ journalist, Lucas Tomlinson, the Pentagon had denied that any U.S. UAV was shot down.

Last June, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) shot down a RQ-4A Global Hawk High-Altitude, Long, Endurance (HALE) UAV of the U.S. Navy after violating the country’s airspace. The incident almost drove Tehran and Washington into war.
would the us ever come clean on such an issue – not likely. but given where it was downed I s’pose it can be saudi, even israeli or american – what kind of uav was it.
A very badly designed one.
“No reports of US drone being shot down” So they are not denying it, they just say that there is no report on it.
Bank: “Hi Brian, we can see that you have a lot of debt, should we find a solution?” Me: “I have no reports confirming that” Bank: “Oh, we are sorry then, and apologise for the inconvenience, take care”
The drone was a martyr drone to the Great Financial Prophet, Jerome Powell and it will be going to a drone heaven where 47 other new virgin drones will be made from it.
why ask the pentagoons. ask nitwityahoo
This one was American 90% sure.
They’ll work out eventually where it came from.
