Foreign Minister: Turkish Military Operation Against Kurdish Militias "Cannot Be Limited To Only Afrin"

The expected Turkish military operation against Kurdish militants in northern Syria may be expanded to other areas, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on January 16.

“Turkey’s precautions against YPG/PKK cannot be limited to only Afrin. There is also Manbij and east of the Euphrates River,” Cavusoglu said following the meeting with his US counterpart Rex Tillerson in Vancouver, Canada

He also emphasized that the US plan to establish a 30,000-strong border guard force composed of US-backed, Kurdish-dominated forces in northwest Syria “irreversibly harms US-Turkey ties”.

The Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) and Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) are the main concern of Ankara that describes them as terrorist organizations linked  to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). The PKK is a militant separatist organization has a long history of combating the Ankara government. It actively operates in southern Turkey and northern Iraq. One of the PKK goals is to establsih an independent Kurdish state that will claim a part of the Turkish territory.

On January 14, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Ankara will launch a military opeartion in Afrin controlled by the YPG “in the coming days” to secure the southern border of Turkey.

We already know that Erdogan has invaded Syria. Erdogan uses Syrian oppositions and traitors against Syrian nation.

Joe

Actually Assad silently welcome this Turkish move to let them remove the Kurds as US is unlikely to attack Yirkish forces.

Once Kurds taken care of, it is easier to get Turkey leave Syria.

So you notice Assad, Iranians etc are quite silent and concentrate on defeating terrorists first

Langaniso Mhlobo

Very true.

Ryan Glantz

The Kurds as a people have been historically sidelined for thousands of years. Time for their sovereignty. Everyone in the world will one day reclaim their personal sovereignty or remain a slave under domination and control. It’s your choice.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They were nothing but wandering mercenaries for thousands of years and always forever being nomadic always looking for a strong patron and assimilating any weaker tribe it found.

matt

Bullshit to talk about ANY people like that, but its nothing new from you….

Jens Holm

No, they were not at all. From where do You get that crap.

Normal history books dont say that at all.

J.Guest

They were once Salahadi’in’s slaves, came from a tribe among the Mongols, surprised at the real history. Don’t even bother trying to insult my intelligence or anyone else’s , go live with stolen history but evidence and fact agrees with me.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

That’s your argument because I didn’t get them from Kurdish texts or US ,UK which all have come under dispute. Even their history books get rewritten because they get it wrong.

as

Sure yeah fair enough. Palestinian? Hawaiian? Okinawan? Afghan? What about natives American?

Jens Holm

Afghanistan had no problems, when Kabul mainly was a practical hat with low power. It was the demands of central rule by britts and russians, which made the change.

I won interfeare aboiut Your Indians. But USA today is very big and divided in 52 states where the Capitol never can be ruler of everything.

So its a good idea dividing many countries today and respect the wishes given by the population. It can been done in several good ways as well as bad ones, but the importance is, that people mainly can run their local matters better themselves and by that gets more productive and repsonsible.

Then they can join the rest and their neigbors, where bot parts think its a good idea.

I wont comment Phalestine.I was not born and I have no solution as well.

I You have, think You should send it to UN right away.

Jim Martin

Actualy better time for Federal State, Provincial or Cantonal autonomy which is what the Syrian, Turkish and Iranian Kurds have been asking for and would pretty much settle the matter as we have done in America and Canada also

Jens Holm

I dont see things like that at all. They always has almost all lived in areas, where states are completly irrelevent in narrow valleys and dry land, where algriculture not could feed them..

Therefore their main structure has been many small isolated tribes organizing themselves.

You should compare with the old cultures along Eufrat and Tigris. You have to help each other and sometimes many kilomters by irrigation. People there easy can live heavy populated there but by that also have need of defence as well as making wars.

You have so many well descriebed Capitols and Castle there.

Some or much sovereignity or being common i big structure has come from the outside by changes and demands. Its about roads, bridget, railroads, electricity, telegraps and tax and control by others – even those many small groups has controlled themself well incl.their own small tribewars.

So the base for some unity is new. They have been kind of hated because they now and then have attacked the farmlands, when they had lack of food, wifes and that. The local around them also have tryed to reduce them by the same reasons.

But its is wrong to say they after WW1 were able to make some state even they kind og woke up.

If Yoy take the rest of the region, they were better, but those has – as fx the constructed Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and several others not been own countries for at least 1000 years.

But their advantage was they knew each other incl killing each other by those and other reasons.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Typical same argument you used against me full of false narratives and questionable history, which is in doubt especially coming from you.

Ronald

Personal sovereignty and national sovereignty are two different things . At this point in time , because of the American presence in both Iraq and recently in Syria , Kurdish nationhood is only a pretext for an American base to attack Iran , Turkey and Russia from . Do we have time for another ten or twenty years of war . Do you really think Syria , Turkey , Iraq and Iran are just going to watch as the Kurds grab their territory .

Langaniso Mhlobo

But Kurds were never been under Syrian oppression but their made themselves traitor by getting used by ISIS creator’s USA.After realising that what their Turkish supported have a negative impact on Turkey their changed although not 100%.

Just take care of Kurds.

Tudor Miron

I agree. Turkey is not to be trusted but! It is easier to get Turkey out the Syria than USA. A week or so ago Erdogan was barking a lot demanding to stop SAA advance on Idlib. Than there was a drone attack attempt on Russian base. Than Putin says that he knows who paid for this attack and that wasn’t Turkey. (Still it happened from territory under Turkey “responsibility” which means that Turkey can not control it properly so its role in Russia-Iran-Turkey agreement is lessened and SAA is to take control). Now Erdogan redirects his “fire and fury” towards objectives that he had to deal with in the first place – explain to Kurds that USA is very far away but Syria and Turkey are here. Syrian Kurds have a choice of being loyal to Syrian state or simply repeat their history and it wasn’t pretty.

dutchnational

Yes, Turkey has indeed a history of being easy to hand back Syrian territory to Syria. How many years is Hatay now under Turkish rule? Something like 80 years?

Graeme Rymill

“Actually Assad silently welcome this Turkish move to let them remove the Kurd”

Perhaps…. or perhaps not…

“According to a Syrian military source, the YPG was able to reinforce the Afrin Canton through the government territories; specifically, the city of Aleppo.” https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/kurdish-forces-reinforce-afrin-syrian-government-territories/

PZIVJ

Yesterday you laughed about lack of evidence, and today you are posting it. LOL Syria is more than happy to let some support flow to Afrin. It’s a dam good political move.

Tommy Jensen

The problem is replacing. If the Kurds are replaced with Erdogan´s militant Al-Nusra its a bad deal for Assad and everybody.

Graeme Rymill

English comprehension isn’t your strong point I guess…. I simply posted an interesting but unsubstantiated claim from a source you Assadists normally consider acceptable. You see that “Perhaps… or perhaps… not” – that’s me saying I don’t know if it is true or not.

Rob

Yes that makes sense.

dutchnational

If Turkey attacks Manbij, Kobane and Cezire, only using their small force of 20k TSK and 10k TFSA, they will easily be defeated and secondly they will be thrown out of Nato for attacking a Nato member.

Nosferatu

NATO falling apart is a good thing …..

dutchnational

It will not be Nato falling apart, it will be Nato pruning a withered branch. Pruning withered branches is good for the health of plants and trees.

Barba_Papa

I didn’t know that the Kurds were members of NATO. Nor Syria. Considering that NATO has well determined areas of operations I doubt that anything that happens in Syria is a NATO triggering event. A leftover from the days of colonialism so other NATO countries would not be dragged into the colonial wars of others. And I doubt that the US would want to lose their comfy bases and basically hand them lock stock and barrel to the Russians.

Besides, neither the Greeks nor the Turks were thrown out of NATO for their little war in the 70’s. After all, NATO is a defensive pact against attacks from outside NATO. War between NATO members on the other hand, not at all. In fact methinks in that case the rest of NATO will look away really really hard and pretend nothing is happening, sticking their fingers in their ears shouting LALALALALA

Ryan Glantz

I foresee a short yet intense conflict where Turkey strikes US backed Kurdish forces and US and Russian forces promptly reply, decimating the Turks, who in 1 day will surrender outright.

Joe

Will never happen as sure as the sun sets tomorrow

Harry Smith

I think Russia will not reply. Lets those NATO countries solve the problem by themselves. And, as it happen in the Iraq, do not think USA will implicate in this conflict too. YPG/YPJ are just “useful idiots” who does not remember Kirkuk.

Ryan Glantz

You’re probably right. Don’t forget there are secret space programs, orbital weapons platforms, super sonic (above mach 10) drones and bombers, advanced fighter crafts that exist. Question is would they use those assests? Some believe the kinetic space weapons were used on Chinese industrial districts.

as

The one used on that one time in Chinese port is tactical nukes. If it even have any they would have used it on NK so nope. I don’t think so. Bioterrorism though that is possible. I really question what was going on with them at the height of their barbarity and for what? World domination? At the expense of? When would it comes to be enough?

Ryan Glantz

There have been human/et wars in space for millenia. Let’s not be naive. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1561_celestial_phenomenon_over_Nuremberg

Ryan Glantz

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJ0I773sFbw

as

And what it does make you or the citizens? MORE WARS! MORE AGGRESSIVE! What benefits it brings you or the US citizen in invading Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan? Well?

Ryan Glantz

Apparently the US military was duped into grabbing a stargate and other ancient babylonian star visitor relics in Bagdad.

as

So no benefits.

Ryan Glantz

As, that’s about right, only the bankers and those who profit off of destruction and hate have gotten benefits in the middle east. The real USA citizens are actually thoroughly pissed off, but you wouldn’t know that from the brainwashed media propaganda (operation mockingbird).

matt

no, this is stronger then LSD, its probably Peyote

Ryan Glantz

What matt is really trying to say is, “your words scare me, and I don’t have a valid or thoughtful way to respond, oh nooo!”

matt

hahahaha, what i am saying is that you live in a fantasyworld.

Ryan Glantz

Matt, do some real research or remain an ignorant asshole. Your choice, dude.

matt

reseArch whaat????

Ryan Glantz

You have a keyboard and a mouse, a monitor and a computer with internet access.. maybe you’re fortunate enough to live nearby a nice library, or have military intelligence friends who are “in the know.” Pick up a book and read it. Pick up another book and read it. Cross reference. Expand your mental library. DISCERN. You got this. You’re a smart man (when you’re not being a troll)

matt

So i should start reading these science fiction books to become a believer like you? Sorry but no, waste of time. I red books like that 30 years ago only to discover eventualy that it is a scam, invented to opress people.

Only in the USA people are massivly buying this crap, it shows the level of stupidity of the americans

Ryan Glantz

What, you read 1982 and figured out the world is against you? Well no shit. Join the resistance or be a slave. Mind you, the only way forward is peacefully saying “no, you cannot rule my life” to the now crumbling power structures.

matt

you are pathetic, join the resistance??? what the fuck are you talking about you stupid consumer of fairy tale crap!!!

Ryan Glantz

What country are you from? Do they censor free thought and critical thinking?

Ryan Glantz

https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/9a51fd588fa50d863fa9ff8d57a0dbc5cf4305c459bb2c1b658a92050cca2454.jpg

matt

You know, my best friend (not american) is a believer. I am NOT! I believe it is a scam to distract people, so the rich can stay rich and the poor stay poor, typical american scam. And you know what? Even if it is true, what will change in our lives? What has been improved so far????

Ryan Glantz

You and your best friend may want to have a further in depth conversation on that subject, then.

matt

Well we did, and you know what??? Everything is still the same. Trump and many other assholes are in the fakemedia, using their powers to fuck everything up and create new wars, their supporters and funders are destroying the planet step by step and people like you are staring at some fantasy while the ultra rich sociopaths are killing the planet!!!

THIS PISSES ME OFF BIG TIME!!!!!

Ryan Glantz

Now we’re getting to the meat and potatoes. Yup. You’re not far off the mark. Do you think doing nothing about it will change it? Do you think talking about it will get others thinking about what’s really going on? Everyone’s going through this awakening process, you’re just on “I’m so angry” step right now.

matt

And you are in the i flee into a fantasy step, that will not help at all

Ryan Glantz

How fantastical is it, really? Honestly. There’s much evidence. have you been conditioned like most to call it fantasy and ridicule it? Some of the greatest minds of all time have practically confirmed these topics.

Ryan Glantz

Then again, it’s difficult for most to believe if they’ve never had an experience of note. I myself have witnessed a UFO with a good friend. That shit woke me up fast.

matt

A UFO, means UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT. So it could have been ANYTHING you did not IDENTIFY, mayebe a football, a sundog, a drone, a secret militairy machine, whatever. The fact remains you never IDENTIFIED it

matt

There is NO evidence, That pseudo science on DIVINE COSMOS, you call that ratatouille of stories EVIDENCE???? Come on!!!

matt

I am angry since 1982, not just now

matt

I am VEGAN, so no meat for me

matt

What is “real” research?????

matt

I think you rather escape into some fantasy bullshit instead of facing reality

Relentless

Don’t forget the Cylones, and the Decepticons!

Ryan Glantz

Ahh, good point, an ignorant asshole troll would say that.

Tommy Jensen

They are invisible secret space stealth. Russia cannot see them on their radar. US could fly in over Kreml and take a photo of Putin in a meeting and Russia wouldnt notice. We Americans won because we were playing chess and Putin played ludo.

Ryan Glantz

Check out “Solar Warden” space fleet. http://locklip.com/solar-warden-the-secret-space-program-built-with-alien-technology/

There are other fleets as well, what some refer to as the Interplanetary Corporate Conglomerate, or ICC- highly advanced and spans out into other star systems, a few other fleets too but you can find out on your own.

Ryan Glantz

There are also classified directed energy weapons, lethal and nonlethal (some can expand the moving metal parts in guns, rendering them temporarily useless). Russia has these, actually ^

Ryan Glantz

At the level of technology you speak of- cloaked craft in orbit- when you reach that level the major world powers are all working together against offworld threats. They consider most surface earth proxy wars insignificant squabbling of the peasant class.

matt

The money went into the pockets of the ultra rich sociopaths that fuck our planet!!!!

Ryan Glantz

Yeah, and they went OFFWORLD or UNDERGROUND with it. Their big plan was to kill off the surface population while they were all safe and cozy in their underground cities- at the taxpayer’s expense. (Dr. Strangelove) When they emerged they’d repopulate the surface and maintain a manageable slave population under 500,000,000 (Georgia guide stones) Too bad the white hat military boys nuked their bases – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkN33pWWwHQ&feature=share

matt

Oh yeah, that guy, i should have known you buy their crap, it ALL comes from this small group that profits from it. Do you also pay for their shitty website full of “documentaries”??

Ryan Glantz

Last time I checked all the information is provided for free. I’m beginning to wonder if you’re a paid troll, or your mind has been beaten into submission by your overlords.

matt

Well, I am and i take ALL the money OFFWORLD :))))

Ryan Glantz

The truth comes out! hahaha

matt

OFFWORLD?? Never knew you could pay in dollars in space ; )))

Ryan Glantz

It’s called resource theft and bartering. They have a digital credit system, but most of the “money” is really trading goods and resources. Look into the brain drain of the 1980’s.

That would mean that American aircraft would take off from Turkish bases in Turkey to strike at Turkish troops in Syria. How realistic would that be?

Far more likely for the Turks to strike at the Kurds and do their damnest to avoid any Kurdish position that they know has Americans with them.

The Russians on the other hand would just lean back and enjoy the internecine NATO shenanigans with a big bucket of popcorn and laugh their asses off. Win-win for them. The Turks put down the Kurds, it will sever their alliance with the Americans and make them more amenable to them and Assad. The Americans put down the Turks, it could trigger a withdrawal from NATO, eliminate troublesome US bases near Russia, throw US and NATO plans for the Black Sea area into disarray and potentially bring Turkey in the Russian sphere of influence. Actually attacking the Turks? I see only lose-lose for Russia there.

Illegal

Once Erdogan has “put down the Kurds” he will have control of over half of Syria. Next to fall will be Aleppo which he already raped.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

That won’t happen Turkey is in no position to be successful.

Ryan Glantz

Russia is USA’s Friend, so is China. They built out the solar system with colonies already. Common, get up to speed. The Cold war was a sham to increase productivity for the build-out of the space programs- ensuring human survival if Earth was destroyed by any cataclysmic events. Turkey might be in one of the League of Nations esque space programs to keep them and other smaller countries tight lipped and lessen their envy. Putin, Trump, and Elders in China work with Pleiadian Et’s – hence Russia’s war tech boosts.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

What distorted world do you live in telling such an obviously distorted lie , Russia and China are not friends with the US nor vice versa. They are all economic and political competitors and you are just spouting fantasy drivel anyways. Russian’s Tech boosts came from relying on itself after all those sanctions they had the know how but not the drive or enticement to do it. Many nations have the ability but again the same issues, but if forced they could outpace the US in technology and development.

Ryan Glantz

Can only lead a horse to water…

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

The camel already filled will not drink , but will chew on the grass and wait until his master has drunk and died from the poisoned water to be free.

Ryan Glantz

This is the illusion that the power structure wants to maintain over the sleeping sheeple who are now awakening in DROVES. Everyone knows the majority of news is fake and all the real stories are sidelined or snuffed from gaining mainstream notice. Also, everyone knows the aliens are real and have been working with world governments for thousands, if not millions of years. You’d know this of course if the world religions were truthful and transparent.

matt

wow, you like LSD i suppose!

Ryan Glantz

Don’t take my word for it, dig deep and do some research, dummy ! :p

matt

you call reading some weird books and watching youtube “research”?????

Ryan Glantz

Call it consciousness exploration. Spiritual intuition. Don’t worry, you’ll have your “aha!” breakthrough one of these days. If you constantly drink alcohol and eat poisoned food though, it will make your mind clogged and you’ll attack those who are trying to help!

Langaniso Mhlobo

It won’t happen Putin loves Erdogan and USA needs Turkey for Turkey’s strategic base.Erdogan best friend is Putin because Putin allows him to always make big shit ad much as he can.

Ronald

The US is standing on the ground of a Russian ally Syria . Russia has just helped Syria defeat ISIS , and now Al Qaeda (HST). The US has just slapped the face of the Russians by stating they are not leaving , but rather partitioning Syria with the creation of “Kurdistan” via the “Border Force” . I would think you are dreaming , Russia will back Turkey , not the US .

mhtsaropinigitakis

you didnt do your homework right…Greece left NATO for some years after the samll turk-Greek war you say…and NATO “forced” Greece to rejoin soon after…Turkey cant leave nato no matter how much she wants..

dutchnational

The US soldiers east of the Euphrates are, as you well know members of Nato.

Furthermore, there is a “small” difference within the Nato between US and Greece. As the funder of 75% of total Nato defense spending Nato will not look away when US tables a motion to throw out turkey.

Again, as you well know.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Well you do know they are illegal combatants in the area and not likely to do anything against Turkey other than political smoke and mirrors. The US tries to throw out Turkey will start the termination of NATO, the US doesn’t bring anything to the table at NATO but a wasteful bloated military budget. The US has way too many bases which accounts for most of their spending. Now that leaves not much left over for actual spending on the military nearly 700 billion goes to simple maintenance of the bases and it’s non military operations. Why do you assume they actually spend that much on military operations.

matt

Nothing is legal in this ugly war sicko!

Joe

Turkey is just the start and likely to prevail as SDF would be too weak to fight a conventional war with Turkey.

After that the Iranians with SAA comes in plus Russia.

Still want to dream?

My past posts are coming to fruition

dutchnational

If you think SDF will fight a conventional war, you have some rethinking to do.

Joe

Now one needs to win a conventional war to hold territory and means SDF will not form any government.

They may fight guerrilla warfare , which means SAA and Hez will fry them up.

The point us if you cannot hold territory , you lose.

Know this ABC logic

Bob

‘…they will be thrown out of Nato for attacking a Nato member.’

That is a colossal and unwarranted leap in logic. The SDF are no more NATO than the YPG. The illegal presence of embedded US-SOF amongst the SDF in Syria does not make it a NATO force, nor ensure that the SDF are safe from any selective Turkish military ‘messages’. Turkey simply requires decent intelligence reports from the north east areas to ascertain where the SDF has no embedded or stationed US personnel and is therefore exposed.

dutchnational

Easily said, hard to do. US will not forgive a number of US special forces accidentily shot as a result of turkish attacks.

Tudor Miron

Yeah! “Easily defeated :) Thrown out of NATO! Assad must go! Amerika is wiz us!” – you never stop to amuse us Dutchy :) Keep it up!

dutchnational

Will do

Joe

Expected of you with little logic. Turkey attack Kurds and if US attack Turks then US should be kicked out of Nato by your childish logic

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

That would be the dissolving of NATO as it would be split in what to do as all members would be required to attack the US in defense of Turkey. Just that this exact argument has been ongoing for decades and if comes to fruition the end NATO is near.

matt

I hope you are right, but i fear for the worst, the kurds will be on the losing end as usual…

Barba_Papa

Erdogan is making a joke of himself. And not just because of his support for Jihadis and the poorly executed Euphrates Shield operation that turned his army into a joke, but also the constant barking and no bite which makes him into the biggest joke of all. Either invade the damn Afrin kanton or shut the fuck up!

Toxicus Mechanicus

A joke yes, 60 soldiers in exchange of 3.500+ confirmed kill on ISIS and YPG. That’s a funny joke. And most of those 60 soldiers’ deaths could be prevented if Erdogan appointed a guy that knows the business instead of a loyal one.

william mcdonald

Need to give a little time for the preparations.

Ryan Glantz

Turkey is going to be lit up, big time if they follow through on their threats. It’s inevitable.

Rafik Chauhan

let erdogon and traitor kurds fight each other . both are using terriost . For SAA it will be less headeace

Illegal

Assad has stupidly allowed Erdogan to pursue his dream of a caliphate. Allowing them to enter Syria was a mistake. Now Erdogan has a foothold that they won’t relinquish. Turkey is tightening security in its Kurdish provinces. Wonder why! A war on two fronts may just be Erdogan’s worst nightmare.

The Kurds never broke away from Syria. They have legitimate grievances that Damascus needs to resolve. The central government has been absent from the Kurdish area of Syria for the past 6 years. It not like it can wave a wand and pretend the past six years did not happen. The SAA does not have the necessary manpower to defend all of Syria if Turkey comes calling.

Joe

Far from the truth There is an agreement to each fight ISIS in their areas all these 7 years.

Anyway Syria will be one again

Toxicus Mechanicus

All these happened where? In the alternative reality you are living in?

matt

In real life you dumm ass!!

Toxicus Mechanicus

Looks like you are living in a much more magical and colorful life than I am. :) What is it? Hero!n or weed?

matt

It is real life you stupid fuck!! How many kurds do you know personaly?

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

The Kurds have just started replacing the Syrian government and civil service in the region since last year wish you were honest. They now force all teachers and former government workers to join the army and BSF then send them off to fight. This is Kurdi Barbaria in the region murder and imprison the dissidents. Forces in Raqqa have raised Bashar’s picture in protest to the conditions in Northen Syria as Arab cities and villages are suffering the worst health and economic conditions. This is a major problem being covered up by the West and their media.

So if you think SDF will gain anything it’s more than likely it will lose more than it bargained for.

matt

Have you been there? I personaly know somebody, his parents are teachers working in this area. I know two other people that went there. All you can blah blah is your delusional view, based on your personal fetish hatred against any attempt to improve the ME!

Ronald

“Improve life in the Middle East ” , noble thought , and taking noble action . The US deciding to create “Kurdistan” , is not motivated to help the Kurds , but rather to embed themselves so they have an other platform from which to destroy not only Syria , but Turkey Iraq and Iran . Do you really think any of your Kurdish friends will survive another ten years of war ?

Jens Holm

Mainly crap again from You.

Of course Assad in no God or Prophet of Syria and mainly a scumbag.

Of course a sekular region should not be driven by sharia in schoolboks telling that girls are mainly raised for sale and like that.

I dont care what people in Raqqa has raised or erected. Most people of Raqqa is not even i Raqqa but are made to refugees before SDF existed.

People supporting Assads has never been allowed to know things, which might be better . All information about it has been strangled and people ralking about it has been jail, tortured, kiled gassed and artillerystriked as well as starved to death.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

You with your worthless statements and arguments can’t stand the truth so you name call and make allusions with no merits. Seems you are like some immature little girl everything you utter is a lie because you can’t handle reality and facts.

Everything you said sounds like the situation ongoing in Northern Syria now and in the past. Your beloved NATO destroyed Raqqa an 98% Arab city which was over 80% destroyed. Most of your allegations sound like they have been carried out by the west and it’s proxies.

Face it you guys lost and the bell is tolling for thee.

Ronald

Jens is just a troll .

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

I know and why I like getting under their skin.

Ronald

The Kurds have stupidly allowed the US on to Syrian soil almost two years ago , in doing so , they have endangered the sovereignty of the nation . Can they remove the US ?

Jens Holm

Those are a result not a reason.

Langaniso Mhlobo

Let so begin terrorist Erdogan against terrorist blonde head physco Trump.

mhtsaropinigitakis

best thing is that when Turkish army get they ass whiped by the Kurds there will be fighting inside turkey as well…it will be the start of their end like a whole country..

matt

I hope that will happen!

Un Jong Kim

As a result of the disastrous Syria policy of the AKP government, the U.S. is attempting to establish a PYD/PKK terror army in northern Syria to “secure the border” under the name of the so-called SDF.

On the other hand, what Erdogan does is mostly nothing but populist demagogy since Incirlik Base is still open and the American planes that take off from there still support the PYD/PKK terrorist group under the label of the so-called anti-Daesh coalition.

As long as that base keeps operating and Ankara does not make peace based on common geopolitical interests with President Bashar al Assad, Erdogan’s bullying and loud-voiced lectures in front of the cameras mean nothing.

Afrin, Manbij and Idlib is Syrian territory. That’s why, the most urgent and necessary move to make for Ankara is to start cooperating with Damascus. Such a move will produce results in a very short span of time as it has already been done before with Iraq following the ‘Barzanistan’ referendum a few months ago. There will not be any U.S.-backed seperatist and Islamist terror left in Syria once Turkish and Syrian armies work together.

matt

ERDOGAN SIKTER LAN

Toxicus Mechanicus

A good kurd is a dead kurd.

matt

You should die

Ronald

The US has just declared war on four nations , Syria , Turkey , Iraq and Iran . with the creation of this so called “Border Force” . They immediately create “Kurdistan” in Syria , which we all know will join-up with the American backed Iraqi Kurds , who will then bite off a piece of Turkey , and Iran .

dutchnational

If TSK does NOT open a full scale attack in Afrin and Manbij, they can just as well leave the area. Erdogan and TSK will have lost the little credibility is still has.

If and when they do attack and cannot gain the whole area (both Afrin and Manbij) they will have lost also and be shown for weak blustering fools.

My only sadness for the latter scenario is the many democratic Syrians, both SDF fighters and civillians, that would lose their lives.

For invading TSK soldiers and headchopping TFSA mercenaries, I hope the SDF/YPG will kill them all.

Jim Martin

It is tragic that “both sides” could become disposable pawns for a reckless Turkish leader who will sacrifice his own people for personal gain while jumping up and down like a Jihadi and disgracing all Turks

“One of the PKK goals is to establsih an independent Kurdish state that will claim a part of the Turkish territory”

More nonesense. Federal State, Provincial or Cantonal autonomy which is what the Syrian, Turkish and Iranian Kurds have been asking for and would pretty much settle the matter as we have done in America and Canada also

This is the line that both the Assad and Erdogan regime are using to help maintain their death grip on power
