Trump won the election. Putin didn’t have anything to do with it. The good thing is that Trump and Putin get along and have common interests; specifically…ending the war in Syria and allowing Assad to rule. With Trump in power Syria may even become closer to America because Trump is his best bet to end the war plus his continuity as the leader of Syria. Trump would prefer he remain the leader as opposed to Obama that wanted him gone (along with Saudi and Qatar).
