Four Chechens arrested in Poland for ISIS support

Original by Wprost.pl; translation by J.Hawk
Four Chechens with Russian citizenship face up to 12 years in prison after being arrested in Poland and charged with terrorist activities.
The four men are accused of participating in an organized crime group and collecting means for supporting terrorist activities by the Islamic State.
The Chechens collected money for the terror group. They also allegedly recruited militants to fight in Syria and Iraq. Moreover, they organized medical aid for the terrorists. The accused were also procuring military equipment for ISIS members.
It was determined the Chechens had legal residence in Poland. They belonged to an international network operating in, among others, Bialystok, Lomza, Warsaw, and also in Turkey.
J.Hawk’s Comment: This is yet another sign that a Russia-US/NATO deal concerning Syria is in the offing. After years of turning a blind eye, Western powers are moving to curtail ISIS support even as Syrian forces are making significant gains in Aleppo, Latakia, and Hama provinces, while Turkey is establishing a “security belt” in in northern Syria.
