On September 6, local security forces in the northern city of Manbij, which is held by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), uncovered four heavy improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
Locals informed security forces of the whereabouts of the IEDs, which were planted near the al-Asadiyah neighborhood south of Manbij.
In a statement, Manbij security forces said their specialists had dismantled the four IEDs in 30 minutes without causing any damage.
Three of the IEDs were designed to attack personnel, while the fourth was armed with a shaped charge for use against vehicles. According to the Hawar News Agency, ANHA, each of the IEDs weighted around 16 kg. All of them were linked to a remotely-controlled detonator.

The IEDs may have been planted by Turkish-backed militants, who occupy nearby areas in northern Aleppo, or ISIS cells.
The SDF keep Manbij safe and secured. However, the city witnessed some attacks in the last few years. In January of 2019, three U.S. service members were killed in the city’s center in a suicide attack orchestrated by ISIS.
The SDF is a zioKurd Mossad infested secessionist force that is a threat to Turkey, Syria and Iraq that needs to be disbanded, it’s leaders that reject reconciliation prosecuted for sedition, and it’s rank and file integrated into the SAA on an as needed basis. With the rest returned to the civilian labor force to fend for themselves.
