Syrian pro-opposition outlets have released photos showing the aftermath of the October 26 U.S. raid on northern Idlib, in which ISIS leader Abu Baker al-Baghdadi was killed.
The photos show the remains of al-Baghdadi’s compound in the town of Barisha in northern Idlib, near the border with Turkey. A destroyed vehicle and what appears to be human remains can be also seen in some of the photos.
Cartridges of a U.S.-made M433 High Explosive Dual Purpose (HEDP) 40mm grenade and 30mm M789 HEDP rounds, likely fired by U.S. attack helicopters, were found in the compound’s area.

Eight U.S. helicopters carrying special forces and backed by warplanes and drones carried out the successful raid on Barisha compound.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that al-Baghdadi was killed in the raid along with many of his followers. Trump thanked Russia, Syria, Turkey, Iraq and Syrian Kurds for assisting in the raid.
The governorate of Idlib, where al-Baghdadi was killed, is a stronghold for many terrorist groups. Washington and its allies continue to pressure Moscow and Damascus to stop their anti-terror operations in the governorate.

If you take a really good look at the foto the thing that strikes me is that the van has taken in excess of 200 visible rounds; 100 to the sliding passenger door with about 20 to the rear panel. There are also head on shots to the engine panel and plus 20 to the drivers door. The overwhelming majority appear to be entry shots with the exception of one in the front passenger door. The bus has also experienced significant heat as is attested to by fire damage. Yet the fuel tank did not explode. This is the 7th time that the elusive Baghdadi has been assassinated, the Russians came close last June but could not confirm that he was definitely killed although several independent sources at that time claimed that he had been seriously wounded. Maybe he died in the mean time and this is another Propaganda opportunity for the most exceptional army in the world… Lol

If this event is true, or if it is not – always tons of doubt with an official U.S. Government statement these days – it was very likely a planned joint agreement by all powers in Syria (Russia, Turkey, Iran? besides Syria) to give Trump some credibility on his way out. When has that ever happened before in a laboratory let alone in the middle of an insertion into an enemy occupied zone, Police are always saying they have to wait weeks and sometimes months even in expedited cases.
