Photographer Dmitry Chistoprudov released a series of photos, which were recently made for what he described as the “MiG-35 advertising campaign”.
The MiG-35 and its two-seat variant MiG-35D are designed to eliminate air, moving and stationary ground and surface targets in any climate and weather. The MiG-35D also can be used as a training aircraft.

In comparison with MiG-29K/KUB and MiG-29M/M2, the Mig-35 has a bigger payload on nine suspensions, increased fuel reserve, air refueling possibility and a possibility to use the jet as a tanker. The glider is corrosion resistant. Additionally, it has a decreased signature. The Mig-35’s normal takeoff weight is 19200 kg. MiG-35D – 19000 kg. The maximum takeoff weight is 24500 kg for both variants.
The maximul altitude speed of the MiG-35 is 2100 km/h. The jet’s practical ceiling is 16000 m.
- The MiG-35 with air-to-air missiles and three suspended fuel tanks has a radius of 1000-1400 km depending on the arms and flight altitude.
- The MiG-35D with air-to-air missiles and three suspended fuel tanks has a range of 900-1300 km, with air-to-surface missiles and three fuel tanks – 750-1050 km.
Maximum overload for both options is 9G.

And funny how they name it MiG-35D, and not MiG-35KUB for the two-seater, sounds like they are aiming at selling her to users of western aircrafts.
No doubt about it a real nice looking toy.

older Mig-25 also had multiple air-air combat kills against F-15E during Gulf War and Iraq War! Pretty cool. And the old Mig-25 radars were weaker, less advanced than F-15. imagine what the advanced upgraded Mig-31 and Mig-35 can do
