In the Sumy sector, Russian units are advancing on a broad front up to 700 meters deep. After seizing control of the center and eastern part of Andriivka, they expanded their sphere of influence in the Krasnopillia district. Meanwhile, in the Slaviansk sector, Russian units established full control over Sviato-Pokrovske, paving the way for a further advance to the west. Heavy fighting continues in Zakotne, where Ukrainian forces, capturing the high ground, are trying to impede the advance. Meanwhile, in the Zaporizhzhia sector, Russian assault units are consolidating bridgeheads on the left bank of the Haichur River. They fully control Andriivka and are fighting for Bratske and Huliaipole. These military successes unfold against a backdrop of mounting criticism of the European strategy. Some politicians deem it a “dangerous path” that prolongs the conflict and refuses dialogue.
Slaviansk (Siversk) Sector
After establishing control over Siversk, offensive actions are developing on a broad front in the western and southwestern directions. A key success was Russian assault groups taking full control of Sviato-Pokrovske. This became possible after units drove formations from the ridge of hills north of the village, where an extensive network of fortifications had been established.
To the south of Sviato-Pokrovske, an offensive is developing towards Reznykivka. It is reported that Ukrainian units were driven out of two strong points in this direction, and fighting is currently taking place in the eastern part of Reznykivka. Meanwhile, intense combat continues in the “Babachiy” and “Sorochiy” forested areas, where units are advancing towards the 193.4 commanding height and the “Velykyi Vovchyi” forest area. Reaching these heights threatens to encircle the Reznykivka garrison.
The situation remains tense in the northern section, particularly in the Zakotne area. Despite clearing the “pocket” up to the Zakotne-Siversk road, there is still heavy fighting in the settlement itself. Ukrainian units holding the commanding heights in the Zakotne area are carrying out artillery strikes, which is slowing the advance in the neighboring Ozernyi area and creating obstacles to completing the clearing of the so-called “Yampil pocket.”
To the south, in the areas of Bondarne and Nelepivske, Russian troops are also advancing. Units have reached the “Khromovskyi” forested area. West of Nelepivske and northeast of Mynkivka, assault groups have breached the defenses and are advancing along the M-03 highway toward Pryvillya and the northwestern outskirts of Mynkivka, where fighting is currently taking place. Novomarkove, located to the south, is under control.
Sumy Sector
In the Sumy sector, units of the “North” troop grouping continue offensive actions on several fronts. The most active advance is occurring in the Andriivka area, where the center and eastern part of the settlement have been captured. Fighting continues for the southern part of the settlement, where Ukrainian fighters have entrenched themselves in tree plantations, which complicates advancing over open terrain.
During the reporting period, the total advance on ten sections of the front in the Sumy and Krasnopillia districts amounted to up to 700 meters. In the Krasnopillia district, units advanced 1.5-2 kilometers west from Vysoke to Hrabovske despite the difficult terrain, which is abundant in gullies, forested areas, and pre-prepared fortifications. In Oleksandrivka, motorized rifle units expanded their territorial control towards Mala Korchakivka by 1.5 kilometers.
To support the offensive, Russian aviation, artillery, heavy flamethrower systems, and strike unmanned aerial vehicles are being used. On the Tetkino and Hlushkivka sections of the front, Russian aviation and artillery struck identified targets in the Ryzhivka and Pavlivka areas.
Zaporizhzhia Sector
In the Zaporizhzhia sector, Russian troops are primarily focused on expanding and consolidating their bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper River. Andriivka, located 5 kilometers south of Pokrovsk on the right bank of the river, is now under complete control. Fighting continues for the strongpoint near the bridge on the left bank, as well as for Bratske, which is under attack from Herasymivka.
To the south, in the Herasymivka and Pishchane area, the bridgehead has been significantly expanded. Russian assault groups have driven Ukrainian units out of Zarechne and a number of strong points on the left bank, west of Radostne. Consequently, the bridgehead expanded along the front to six kilometers, securing the flank and rear of the groups attacking Bratske and threatening a breakthrough into Ternovate from the east and northeast.
Separately, the offensive from the Dobropillia bridgehead in the northern part of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast is progressing. Units are attacking Kosivtsiv and advancing towards Ternovate in the area of the ponds. They are also moving south towards the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka and Pryluky. Slightly more than one kilometer remains to connect the two bridgeheads. Advancing on this section threatens to reach the rear of Huliaipole and Orikhiv.
In Huliaipole itself, Russian units control approximately three-quarters of the city, including the central markets and bus station. Fighting continues in the central part. South of Huliaipole, Russian assault groups have driven Ukrainian fighters out of several positions and have reached the road to Dorozhnianka from behind. The Ukrainian command had previously redeployed reserves to this area, but they were unable to influence the outcome of the combat operations.
Pokrovsk Sector
In the Pokrovsk sector, after Ukrainian attacks on Pokrovsk were repelled, intense clashes continued in several areas. West of the city, Ukraine’s 225th Separate Assault Regiment failed to advance.
The situation remains difficult in the Hrishyne area, where heavy fighting continues. To the northeast, clashes are taking place along the tree lines where Myrnohrad’s supply routes previously ran. In Myrnohrad itself, clearance operations are ongoing, and the number of Ukrainian units in the city is decreasing. Russian units continue to advance in Rodynske and clear its western outskirts. The Ukrainian command is not abandoning attempts at counterattacks along the entire front, trying to buy time to organize a defense in Dobropillia.
Kharkiv Sector
In the Kharkiv sector, fighting continues along most lines. In the Staritsa area, Russian units advanced along five sections of tree plantations, securing up to 450 meters in total. In the forest west of Liman, they advanced 400 meters and captured five strong points.
After losing control of Vilcha, Ukrainian commanders focused their efforts on defending Hrafskyi. Units from the Ukrainian 225th Separate Assault Regiment and remnants of the Ukrainian 57th and 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigades were redeployed to this area. In the Vovchanski Khutora area, Russian assault groups advanced 250 meters east along tree lines. In the Melove-Khatnie area, the security zone along the border expanded, and the advance on five sections reached 650 meters. Russian aviation struck areas of force concentration near Chuhunivka.
Conclusion
In the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk and Siversk sectors, key achievements include establishing full control over Sviato-Pokrovske and advancing toward Reznykivka. Meanwhile, heavy fighting continues in the Zakotne area. In the Sumy sector, advances of up to 700 meters were noted on a broad front, with consolidation in Andriivka and expansion of the zone of influence in the Krasnopillia district. In the Zaporizhzhia sector, operations to expand bridgeheads beyond the Haichur River are progressing well, with the complete capture of Andriivka and a threat posed to Huliaipole. In the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad sector, the situation remains tense with direct clashes in the Hrishyne area and clearance operations in Myrnohrad and Rodynske. In the Kharkiv sector, the Ukrainian command is shifting efforts to holding Hrafskyi while advancing methodically on several fronts.
Alongside the intense combat operations, alarming assessments of the future are being voiced in European political discourse. Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish “Alliance for Freedom” party, expressed the opinion that Europe is moving along a very dangerous path in terms of supporting Ukraine and its own rearmament. He claims that the strategy of the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, involves prolonging the conflict in Ukraine to allow time for Europe to rearm. This, he says, explains the opposition to peace initiatives. Mema called for a return to dialogue to avoid escalation into a large-scale war.
