On October 6, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) operation room in the northern Aleppo countryside named “Ahel al-Dar” announced that it is ready to support the Turkish Army if it launches a military operation against the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) and the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in Afrin city in the northern Aleppo countryside.
Ahel al-Dar said in an official statement that its ready to exchange information and to work with the Turkish Army before or after “the zero hour” – the beginning of the attack. Ahel al-Dar also called all civilians in Afrin to move away from PKK positions in the city and around it.
Meanwhile, Syrian opposition sources reported that high ranked officers of the Turkish Army met with commanders of the FSA groups involved in Ankara’s Operation Euphrates Shield (ES) in the northern Aleppo countryside to discuss a possible military operation against the PKK in Afrin.
The sources said that commanders from Liwa’ Muetasim, the Hamza Division, the Sultan Murad Division and the al-Shamiyah Front attended the meeting. Furthermore, they argued that the military operation against Afrin will be separated from the upcoming military operation in Idlib governorate, and the two will not be launched in the same time.
In a related development, opposition activists reported that clashes broke out between unspecified Turkish-backed forces and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in Kefer Selin village in the northern Idlib countryside. However, these claims are not yet confirmed.
Pro-HTS journalist Bilal Abdul Kareem who is now in Idlib governorate denied all the reports that claimed there is an agreement between HTS and Turkey. Furthermore, Abdul Kareem reported that Turkish bulldozers are removing the border wall in al-Hadd village in the northern Idlib countryside on the Syrian-Turkish border.
Fighting taking place: HTS vs Turkish forces in Hadd. Apparently Turkey trying to enter Syria. Rumors of a deal reached are false

Abdul Kareem’s claims confirm that the Turkish Army is soon launching its military operation against HTS in Idlib governorate.
wish they would attack SDF instead
Why not let FSA and PKK fight each other in this area but assure that nobody will win in such battle
i wouldnt mind that either lol
for now the problem in Syria is HTS…lets focus on that…..SDF is supposed to be the ‘good guys’ and compared to HTS,ISIS etc they are …..so when the main threat is dealt with ,we will see abut the arrogant Kurds
What if an attack on so called Kurdistan is intended to bring many SDF back to fight and leave the front line near DZ ?.
Is that really true that PKK controls them?
its not a matter of control.its a matter of cooperation. they are all kurds and although they have no good relations with each other ,Turkey fears that the Iraqis will supply weapons to PKK, or the other groups will, so Turkey will be in trouble with Kurds in Turkish territory. simple as that. Furthermore the independence of Iraqi Kurdistan will start a chain reaction of Kurds wanted independence elsewere. First Syria the Turkey. a nightmare for the Sultan
Why Iraq would arm PKK? I thought they don’t want Kurdish independence either
not iraq, kurdish autonomous state in iraq would.have you seen what weapons they have? US have sold them (in exchange for oil i guess) millions of $ of weapons. they have a very impressive army. they have almost everything. even apache helicopters.

Here, you can watch/listen to the captured PKK members.
When one of them is asked “Where are you coming from? Syria? YPG?”(He asks this because he understands his Turkish is horrible and not from Turkey)
He answers “YPG? It’s us, It’s PKK. We ARE YPG. We(PKK) created them, no difference”.
His Turkish is not good because he is from Syria. He says “I got kicked out of Syria because I didn’t fight for them(PKK/YPG)”
Continues “I came to Turkey and HDP(PKK affiliated political party in Turkey) contacted me and made me join to PKK”
If you want, i can go into great detail and explain PKK’s entire structure and sub-organisations.
Many thanks!!! Will watch it later tonight
terrorists are all the same including fsa … time will tell
Afrin has no oil, so as far as America is concerned they may all die :) However, a Turkish victory in Afrin would obviously put SAA in a bad strategic situation around Aleppo city so this will not be allowed.
they made a deal with russia and syria to eliminate HTS.
Actually that is the only option to the blockade, a outlet to the Mediterranean Sea to export the oil. Do not underestimate plan B.
