A new rocket attack by an unknown armed group has violated the fragile ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, that was implemented a few hours ago only.
The Israeli military said on Twitter that five rockets were launched from the Palestinian region in the noon of November 14. No one was reportedly killed or injured in the attack.

The escalation in Gaza began on November 12 when a senior commander of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), Baha Abu al-Ata, and his wife were killed in an Israeli air strike. Another PIJ commander, Akram al-Ajuri, survived an airstrike that targeted his home in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
The PIJ and Palestinian factions in the Gaza strip responded to the assassination of Abu al-Ata by launching more than 450 rockets at Israeli settlements. Israel struck back killing 34 Palestinians, including a family of eight.
Despite the high number of casualties, Musab al-Buraim, a spokesman of the PIJ, announced earlier that the group will respect the ceasefire that was brokered by Egypt.
The Israeli military has not responded to the new rocket attack, so far. This indicates that Tel Aviv wants to de-escalate the tension by committing to the ceasefire.
I heard this report on FOX, they just said, ‘a renewal of rocket attacks from Gaza’ and showed stock footage. I didn’t know it was of such a small scale, obviously not a general order to continue a campaign, could be just one undiscliplined unit. I hope Bibi doesn’t use this as an excuse to launch his typical air and artillery strikes in order to grand stand.
Ceasefires is considered a reinforcement period buy most armies. You use it as a “safe” period of reinforcing you troops, building new fortifications, positioning troops and such.
And when all is set and done, you break the ceasefire or you wait to one minute past ceasefire endtime to open fire.
