On October 23, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
14 of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, Lancet loitering munitions, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Notably, one of the Lancet strikes hit an engineering vehicle of Kiev forces that was building a crossing on the Siverskyi Donets River near the settlement of Raigorodok in the direction of Donetsk.
An additional video shows an attack with multiple Geran-type fixed wing suicide drones that targeted an electrical substation supplying Kiev forces near the settlement of Konotop in the direction of Sumy.
Two other video show attacks with Tornado-S guided artillery rockets on two crossings used by Kiev forces: one near on the Siverskyi Donets River near Raigorodok, and another on the Oskil River close to the settlement of Kup’yans’k-Vuzlovyi in the Kharkiv direction.
Three more videos show recent airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that targeted Ukrainian positions close to the settlement of Kolomiytsy in the Dnepropetrovsk direction, and in the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk, as well as along the front near the settlements of Novonikolaevka, Novoselovka, and Novouspenovka in the direction of Zaporozhye.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “ower facilities that ensured operation of the Ukrainian defence industry enterprises, assembly workshops, depots and launch sites of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, POL (petrulium, oil, and lubricants) depots as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 152 areas” over the last 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defense shot down three guided aerial bombs and 293 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 668 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 91,983 drones, 633 air defense systems, 25,630 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,605 multiple rocket launchers, 30,725 artillery pieces, and 44,725 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
