Over the past few days, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), the Tiger Forces and their allies have deployed in a few steps away of the full liberation of Daraa province.
Just recently, government forces, assisted by the Russian Military Police, have entered Tafas, Yadudah, Kafr Shama and other points, which are highlighted by purple in these maps.
Additionally, reports appeared that militants in Daraa al-Balad have also joined the reconciliation agreement with the Damascus government. This agreement will include the areas of Daraa al-Balad, the Dam Road, the Camp, Sajna, al-Manshyia Gharaz and the nearby silos.
The Syrian state-run news agency SANA reported that government forces have discovered a new batch of weapons in the recently liberated areas.
“A field commander said that the army units on Wednesday [July 11] found underneath caches for the terrorists groups in a number of the villages and towns in southeastern and northeastern countryside of Daraa, including US TOW launch pads, US-made armored vehicles, armored vehicles equipped with machineguns 14,5-57 and 30, tanks and anti-aircraft guns.
SANA reporter said that the seized weapons also included 120mm, 82mm, 60mm mortar launchers, various munitions, RPGs, and sniper weapons, in addition to a tunnel excavator used by the terrorists to facilitate their movement and protect themselves from the strikes of the Syrian Arab Army,” the SANA said.
