Syrian government forces have captured a large number of weapons and ammunition, including US and Israeli-made rockets, in the framework of the ongoing security operation in the Damascus countryside.
Medium-size machine gun rounds, rifles, tank and artillery rounds as well as hundreds of Grad rockets and a large number of US made anti-tank missiles and Israeli 128 mm rockets were among the captured equipment.

It is apparent from the sheer number of these hidden caches that the militants – whether FSA or al Nusra – negotiated their surrenders and transit in bad faith. They handed over little of their functioning weapons caches and simply hid the bulk – on off-chance of using or selling them in future.

Most of them don’t know the difference between a semi-automatic rifle and a semi-trailer truck.
I guess “medium” means something between about 7 and 8 mm? “Large” would be something over 12, and “small” something under 6?

Interesting observation. Chicagoland, Illinois, USA is actually getting much safer since last year (2018). According to the sick media in ‘Murica they recorded “only 589” killings last year. That’s a celebratory stupendous improvement compared to 2017 – 650 killings and 2016 – 762 killings. So living conditions are becoming better and better in the great 2.65 million soul metropolis next to Lake Michigan. (On a side note, I would like to “acquire that Russian SPG-9 73 mm. recoilless gun in the first picture and a stack of ammo so I can remove some of my annoying neighbors here in the Big Apple, oops I meant Big Ghetto.)
