Syrian government forces have successfully advanced against ISIS east of Khanasir in the province of Aleppo, according to the National Defense Forces (NDF) media wing.
The Syrian army and the NDF reportedly captured a number of points near Umm Miyal as well as Tal Al-Abjar in the area.
This advance is a part of the wider effort aimed at expelling ISIS terrorists from the area east of the government-held town of Khanasir.
IDEA FOR SOUTHFRONT: Each time you make public an article about some city/road/area, please consider adding a small photo of the area in the map.
Reasons: a) Not everyone have the name of the Syrian cities in memory; b) It would make the reading more dynamic and interesting; c) Many arabian cities have different spellings depending of which map your are using so it gets hard to localize.
Other than that, keep the nice job.
I get your point but they are run on donations. To do that, it takes time and time is money. Have this open when you are reading an article like this again, it helps. I find it easy to read but then again, I have been looking at it for many years lol. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Syrian_and_Iraqi_insurgency_detailed_map
