Several units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) were deployed on December 1 in the al-Aliya silos in northern al-Hasakah, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
The silos are located in a strategic position on the M4 highway, which links al-Hasakah with the governorates of Raqqa and Aleppo. The highway is considered the spine of transportation in the northeastern region.
The SAA also established military posts in the towns of al-Suayfah, al-Susah al-Gharbiyah and al-Najurdiayh, which are located on the M4 highway.
Last month, the Damascus government and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reached an agreement allowing the SAA to enter the country’s northeastern region in order to counter a Turkish-led attack.
Damascus and the SDF’s political leadership were supposed to engage in a new series of talks to solve administrative and cultural issues in northeast Syria. However, this is yet to happen.
Brilliant state-or-art work stands here gents. Kurdish Kommunist Party (PKK/YPG) is getting better & better at trolling. Neither Turkey nor Russian side confirmed the news, so consider it fake.
Angry turk detected.
