On December 16, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), Liwa al-Quds and Iranian-backed forces launched a counter attack against ISIS on the western bank of the Euphrates River and recaptured the town of al-Ramadi north of the city of al-Bukamal, according to a report of the Syrian pro-government blog al-Masdar News.
ISIS launched a wide scale attack on the SAA positions along the western bank of the Euphrates river on December 12. During its attack, ISIS recaptured the villages of al-Jalaa, Saiyal, Salihiyah, Mujawdah, Abbas, al-Harsa and Kashma between the cities of Mayadin and al-Bukamal from the SAA.
A key commander of Liwa al-Quds named “Murad Fakhri Biqul” was killed by ISIS fighters during the SAA counter-attack, according to Syrian pro-government sources. The sources said that several other fighters of Liwa al-Quds were killed or injured during the clashes with ISIS.
The ISIS-linked news agency Amaq didn’t report any news from the western bank of the Euphrates river in the last 48 hours. This confirms that ISIS is suffering from major setbacks on the western bank of the Euphrates.
the zio ameritards coalition is being eliminated surely by the syrian coalition superheroes – no escape for zio losers, masters and slaves aka perm hell dwellers
Funny how IS is sandwiched between SAA and SDF, yet can still committ enough force for a counterattack sufficient to briefly seize villages?
Clearly they don’t fear being hit in the back by the SDF while advancing against SAA….. I wonder why that might be???
Obvious isn’t it? Previously ISIS became SDF to secure oil fields , claiming all these were killed . They then need to create presence of ISIS again so changed uniforms and ta ta , ISIS is there again. So US has justification to stay on.
Then they claimed only coalition forces effective and so far killed 45000 terrorists
They think the world are all kids
Yes, everybody can notice this !!! I think, even northamerican people.
” even northamerican people.”
That’s pushing perception to its limits I think Gustavo :)
I never thought of you as a cynic Gary :) Welcome to the club.
I think you put that rather well.
Funny how the Palestinian militia seems to be singled out for special ISIS attention too
