While a fully-fledged reconciliation agreement between the Damascus government and local militants in southern Syria has not been reached yet, government forces have continued their operation in the area.
On June 30, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), the Tiger Forces and their allies liberated the villages of al-Masrifeh, Sahwat Al-Qamh, Karak, Ghariyat al-Gharbiyah and Ghariyat al-Sharqiyah.
According to pro-government sources, the SAA continued its operation in the area aiming to clear the entire eastern countryside of Daraa city from militants.
