Following the liberation of Atshanah Sharqi, Humaymat, Abu Hariq, Anij Bagra and Totah Hjaila, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) advanced west of Abu al-Duhur and catured the vilalge of al-Khifa from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda).
According to pro-government sources, the SAA is seeking to liberated the entire area north and northeast of Abu al-Duhur prior it starts to deal with the militant-held pocket in northeastern Hama.

News to me,heard egypt denounced turkey for its actions but thats as far as it went? Dont they have isis problems themselves to deal with at the minute?.

I’m amazed how quickly SAA got to Abu Duhur and pocketed the NE Hama area and connected with the Aleppo area. If they get to Saraqib as quickly the terror insurgency will be in real trouble with most connecting roads cut off, and Fouaa-Kafraya pocket only about 10km away, and Idlib city close by too. Turkey, back in the day, desired Idlib and Aleppo for itself, and that explains why they are mad at Afrin area now.
