Government Forces Liberate Two Villages From ISIS Near Mayadin City (Map)

FILE IMAGE: mod.gov.sy

Following the liberation of al-Mayadin, Syrian government forces have retaken two villages from ISIS in the same area on the western bank of the Euphrates.

According to reports, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies seized Buqrus Fawqani and Buqrus Tahtani northwest of Deir Ezzor.

Now, the SAA and its allies are securing the bank of the Euphrates between Deir Ezzor and Mayadin. Then, the SAA Tiger Forces will likely cross the Euphrates river and try developing momentum towards the strategic Omar oil fields.

Direct towards the total victory in Deir Ezzor, without more delay or more setbacks of the servants american Kurds, that is my greatest desire for SAA and all its allies involved. Congratulations.

Xanatos

Russians need to be embedded in any move to the oil fields. otherwise the west will bomb the SAA.

PZIVJ

Securing this riverbank will open up many possible crossing points for the SAA. This will keep ISIS guessing as to where and when. Godspeed SAA. :)

Solomon Krupacek

another bullshit. before end of securing the kurds take the opposite bank.

PZIVJ

Are you stating that you are posting BS? :DD The SDF advance has been slowed down by ISIS around Jafra oil field. And there may be an agreement in place that they will not cross the rail line in this area. Remember that US coalition asked for meeting to avoid confrontation between SAA and the SDF, and this is an obvious line in the sand I think.

Solomon Krupacek

you post always bullshits. you welcomed also fsa in south syria.

PZIVJ

Are you trolling from Czech Republic or Slovakia?

Moussa Saab

I am guessing he is Turkish.

FlorianGeyer

As stupid as that? Wow :)

Solomon Krupacek

i dont know who is he, but was very happy, when fsa took huge territory in south syria with american help.

Red Admiral

There are no permanent agreements. There are only permanent interests

Tudor Miron

Yes, and we know that one can’t trust an agreement with US. Ask Iran.

Solomon Krupacek

already defeat isis.

Volker Burkert

But that’s what you want, don’t you.

Solomon Krupacek

no. months long i fought with this cryptonazi, that saa should attack in dez countryside, because in autumn will lose east syria.

PZIVJ

I remember “must take Al Bukamal right away”. That was a good way to get SAA troops flanked and destroyed! Were you an officer in supply depot? :D

FlorianGeyer

Solomon was in charge of the Comfort Children for the IDF I think. Oh, and the daily bagel deliveries as well.

Solomon Krupacek

yes commi, your brithers lost the cold war and will lose also russia.

FlorianGeyer

We all realise that the USA covets the wealth of Russia, however this is where US Fantasies will collide with the Reality of a nation that actually does have the capacity to incinerate the USA.

Solomon Krupacek

because you are stupid and dont know anything about battlefield.

my way was the only winner. and my words have fillfilled: saa´s slow movement = lost east syria. you all are only losers.

Daniel Rich

@ PZIVJ ,

Q: Were you an officer in supply depot? :D

R: Stop it. You guys are killing me :o)

Deo Cass

The Zio/US Nazis you mean and their slave Kurdish SDF terror squads.

PZIVJ

Yes, everybody on the eastern side of the Euphrates. I was trying to cut down on the typing. :D

Solomon Krupacek

losers liberate villages, winners liberate oil fields …

Jesus

AMN had some graphic pictures of what ISIS did to an SDF outpost in the area of the oil fields they had sized. “Winners” according to your delusions, SDF is a joke as a fighting force. They do not have tanks, heavy artilery, MRLS, tactical missiles…etc. They are a mere militia, on a chess board they are a mere pawn, while SAA is a bishop or a rook.

Solomon Krupacek

but you told, the isis = sdf. what are you talking about, now????

btw., sdf already took back the lost m2-s.

Jesus

There are different ISIS units that do not march to the US drumroll. It is likely that these ISIS were the mercenary reinforcements that came from Iraq.

Robert Duran

Its easy to make suggestions looking at a map.Situations can and are usually very different on the ground.Everyone knows these oilfields are very important.no one more so than the SAA and the Syrians on the whole. If they are securing villages before they move onto these oilfields its because they have very good reasons..

PZIVJ

And how does SAA cross the river without securing the river bank??? Solomon not so wise today. Check the dam map! TIGER SPAM :D https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/2d710672b7557a9673c3aaeaf356dd439480e47eb5d0a2fb8ce56d9e0f2c457d.jpg

Solomon Krupacek

one of these two stay on the west bank

Thegr8rambino

SAA are the real winners of this war!!! and russia!!!

Solomon Krupacek

losers

divided syria = lost war

assad syria will not hve enbergy, water, food. will be new revolts, assad will fall and russians will be kicked out. now is only the second year of russian activities in syria. in afghani were olso 0 years. but the defeat will come.

Thegr8rambino

U wish pal!!! And ur wish will not be granted lemme tell u!!

goingbrokes

Liberating villages is very important, SAA take their duty towards civilians very seriously. SDF is incredibly over extended already and cannot move safely forwards. Seen how worried they are about securing their backs in Hasakah direction? If daesh had attacked SDF the way they did Sukhnah Kurds would be back in Raqqah now fighting a defensive action. That’s academic but daesh is near collapse now and there is no reason for SAA to create hostilities with the Kurds. The Kurds know they are walking a tightrope at the moment. They know that they cannot stand against SAA after daesh is gone. And I would say that SAA is fed up with SDF letting the Syrians do all the fighting against the insurgents while the Kurds walk in to do land grabs when daesh main force is fighting elsewhere. It is intolerable behaviour and Syria will not allow any land grabs in the post-daesh settlements.

Deo Cass

Mayadin bridge was destroyed by the Americans more than one year ago for the specific reason of preventing the Syrian gvernment forces from reclaiming 80% of their natural resources on the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river. The Syrian government forces need not publicize their plans to take what belongs to them and the Syrian people on the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river, because we already know what happened to the over advertized plans to reclaim the Al-Jafra oil fields. This time there should be no procrastination. Whatever rge Russians say or advice, the Syrian government firces just need to cross the Euphrates river NOW, take the oil and gas fields and then announce the news as fait accompli.

Rob

There are some strategies that Syrian and Iraqi governments need to do but I cannot tell here on this media. Just Syria and Iraq need indication. With these strategies the Syrian and Iraq war can end with in few weeks.

PZIVJ

Is the strategy top secret? Why do you leave us all in the dark! YOU TEASER Surely some govt’s will pay top dollar for this info. Is this what you are holding out for? :/

Thegr8rambino

GODSPEED SAA!!!!

John

The SAA doing their homework is how I view this.
