After a failed counter-attack by militants in northwestern Hama, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies continued their steady advance in the region.
SAA units and allied forces attacked militant positions in the settlements of Muhajereen, Hariah, Huwayz and Hamra. According to pro-government sources, all these settlements were captured by army troops. However, in fact, clashes in these points are still ongoing.
I’m saddened by the lack of awesome maps we were spoiled with during the East Allepo, East Ghouta and Daraa offensives. You can’t see shit on these massive overview maps. Also it would appear that the Latakia operation has been stalled in its tracks.

Idlib dawn become Idlib day….
We have not seen intense fighting yet (apart from maybe Kabani). In the available videos SAA are basically throwing a few mortars into positions and next thing they are walking into yet another town. I don’t think it’s a bad thing, just surprised. Where is the mighty defence of Idlib?
