On Friday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) Tiger Forces liberated the villages of Jab al-Masherfah, Jab al-Afudas and Saharig al-Wahhab south of the Rasafa pumping station in the southern Raqqa countryside.
Governmen troops also continued their advance in the southern Raqqa countryside and managed to liberate Rajm al-Hurra town east of the Al-Thawra houses as well as the Al-Sufian field and Al-Sufian town. The Tiger Forces also advanced in the southern Tabqah countryside and managed to capture the Al-Ajrawi farm.
In the eastern Hama countryside, SAA managed to liberate the hill of Debara al-Diba, east of Salamiyah town.
Furthermore, according to pro-government sources, a large number of SAA troops arrived to the eastern Hama on Friday to reinforce the SAA’s attack on the town of Aqerbat. This town is one of the most important ISIS strongholds – in addition to Soukhnah town – in central Syria.
Right now the SAA is 70 kilometers north of the town of Soukhnah town and only 40 kilometers from the Khanisir road.
If SAA continues its advance south of Raqqa, then SAA could attempt to besiege ISIS fighters throughout the entire area between the eastern Aleppo countryside and northern Hama countryside, or to push ISIS fighters to withdraw from it.
They should move to cut off the Kurds from any more expansion to the south. This should be priority.
Why? Desert is’t important. The resources are. Let others defend ground that is expensive to defend and doesn’t give them anything.
I think cutting off retreating daesh should be their priority, as well as closing that pocket
Cut off the real terrorist FSA.
Very nice love u tiger forces :)))
