Syrian government forces have reopened a northeastern Hama front against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and liberated the village of Jakusiyah and al-Rahjan, the Hezbollah media wing in Syria reported on January 9.
The advance took place amid the intense fighting south of the Abu al-Duhur airbase in southern Idlib where HTS lost the villages of Rasm Hamideh, Astablat, Surouj and al-Adiliyah on the same day.

Right now, the Syrian Army, the Tiger Forces and other pro-government units are deployed within about 5-6km south of the Abu al-Duhur area and in about 25km south of the nearest positions of government forces in southern Aleppo. The army advance in northeastern Hama would allow the Syrian military to increase pressure on militants in the entire area east and southeast of Abu al-Duhur.

very quick indeed. Didn’t expect quite the advances due to things going relatively slow since breaking the siege at Der Ezor. I believe the news slows to a trickle during upcoming major offensives and then comes out after the advances were made. We get info that is a few days old from the front on most cases.

Its proof that the Jihadis don’t have any real defense in depth. They have limited manpower and are forced to station much of their reserves at the front lines. The SAA have launched a big armoured push, broke thru the Jihadist lines, and the goat fuckers simply don’t have reserves to mobilise to plug the gap. The SAA has developed momentum and continues to overrun the lightly garrisoned interior.

One front is better than several fronts because it gives strength and courage to the Syrian forces and their allies. With single front the SAA power will focus on a small area and therefore, will liberate the areas from Zionists quickly.
