Pro-government forces, led by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) 5th Assault Corps, have liberated 5 more villages near the ISIS strong point of Uqayribat in the eastern countryside of Salamiyah. Government troops have liberated Maksar Janubi, Mukayman, Qastal Shamali, Qastal Wastani and Qastal Janubi.

Earlier, the SAA and its allies liberated the villages of Mukaymen Janoubi and Mushayrifah, and reportedly entered in the ISIS-held village of Qambar.

The ISIS defense is rapidly collapsing in the area.

Well done. This pocket’s a bit of an eye sore. Time to paint it all RED.

This is low hanging fruit. Most of villages in this pocket are on the western edge.

Still good pressure on these terrorist in the pocket. Their advance should be steady and with caution as the only terrorists that stayed behind are those that have an ultimate death wish and are only hoping to take some with them to stall the end of their caliphate. Don’t grant them their wish and allow them to take their journey to hell alone.

It does not matter.. For now the good guys, the SAA, are pressing these fraud “terrorists” into a small pocket with no escape… They will soon either be bombed out of existence, left to starve to death, or have to surrender en-mass….

but it will much easier to liberate those areas from behind, these terrorists had set up their positions to fight facing the other side

Clean the packet ASAP, as Idlib is getting at the boiling point and looks like HTS and FSA are ready for attack

The non-natives are getting restless in Idlib because their support structure – ISIS just across the highway – is crumbling faster than anyone would’ve imagined. When Idlib becomes totally isolated from any possibility of interaction with other jihadi groups/areas they will have to face the reality that they will be on their own against the might of the SAA later on. They are facing their impending death in advance. That’d make me restless too.
