On Thursday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the National Defense Forces (NDF) repelled an ISIS attack on the village of Kobajjep located on the Sukhna-Deir Ezzor highway and established a full control over the area.
Clashes in Kobajjep had been ongoing since Wendesday when ISIS launched the attack on the SAA and the NDF in the area. However, the terrorist group was not able to achieve its goal and to re-gain this important village from government forces.
