The Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have liberated 3 more villages from ISIS terrorists in the northern part of the province of Aleppo.
On January 23, government forces, led by the Syrian army’s Tiger Forces, took control of Diriya, Khan Hufrah and Diriya Umm Adas, located southwest of the ISIS stronghold of al-Bab. Last weekend, the army and the NDF liberated Suran, Sarjah Kabirah, Sarjah Saghirah and Maran in the same area.
Meanwhile, talks between the Syrian government and the so-called “opposition” are ongoing in the Kazakh capital of Astana. The initiative is backed by Ankara, Moscow and Tehran.
