On February 25, the Syrian army’s Tiger Forces, supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces liberated 8 villages from ISIS terrorists in the province of Aleppo.
Syrian government forces got full control over Shami, Khirbat Kiyar, Qasr Biriji, Um Kharza, Kitah, Mistrihah and Shanhasah.
They also secured the important mountain of Sulaym located north of the town of Rasm Sheikh.
Who will take Tadif
Thought it was already taken by Turks/FSA. I might be wrong.
Maybe there are still some ISIS fighters there, and SAA should take Tadif bcs there was deal that FSA wont go south of higway
Turkey/Fsa and SAA are fighting there now
Looks like SAA took it. Check Twitter.
Drive on quickly to the Kurdish zone. And then use that zone to open a new front towards Deir Ezzor!
And give the SDF the possibility of strengthening Afrin kanton.
Seize the momentum. ISIS are weak in this area.
YES! Tigers have taken a large chunk of land here in the last 24 hours. Appears that ISUS is in disarray and/or pulling back to a more defensible Deir Hafer-Lake Assad line. I hope for the former. Don’t be surprised if SDF launches attack south of Manbij within a few days. Let’s push Daesh on all fronts and see if they crack! :)
Yes, i think SDF will move in as soon as Daesh is retreating away from that frontline. They did the same south of Jarabulus. Dont see them taking large parts but some villages is surly possible.
where do they keep retreating too? why not eliminate them or arrest them for intel in possible?
