The Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have repelled an ISIS attack on the village of Jubb al-Jarah, killing some 20 ISIS militants in the clashes, according to pro-government sources.
Intense clashes erupted in the area of al-Khattamlah village that ISIS had seized from the NDF earlier.
SAA and allies are playing catch up in East Homs, this area mentioned needs to be cleared, harder said that done because you have AL Nusra on the other side of the supply route (Salamiyah-Aleppo). I hope there is a plan to attack and hold onto East Homs, its like a thorn in a shoe.
These ISIS forces are using mobile command centers. They are very effective in coordinating a small force to defeat a large number of clueless defenders. Mobile command centers are using the latest developments in digital information warfare, and are certainly supplied by a patron state.
The burning question is how are their supply lines not visible and cutoff? Is all reconnaissance getting jammed? That’s certainly not a two bit operation.
