The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have liberated the village of Manoukh and the nearby Manoukh hill from ISIS in the area north of the Homs-Palmyra highway.
The advance followed the liberation of Marina village southeast of the Ithryah town. The both advances were a part of the wider effort aimed at increasing pressure on ISIS units east of Salamiyah and clearing the key area of Uqayrabat from ISIS terrorists.
If the SAAn and the NDF continue achieving successes in the area, it may be a start of a large military campaign against ISIS north of the Homs-Palmyra highway.
