A private protest organization, called Demand Protest, is ready to pay $2,500 to people, who would like to take part in a frustration of the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump. The group has created several online job postings, oriented toward Democrat areas of the country “seeking operatives to help send a strong message at upcoming inauguration protests.”

According to Demand Protest, which claims to be the “largest private grassroots support organization in the United States,” they “pay people already politically motivated to fight for the things they believe.”

“You were going to take action anyways, why not do so with us,” several job offers, headlined “Get paid fighting against Trump,” read.

According to the job ad, ‘protesters’ will be amply rewarded for their participation, with insurance benefits and travel expenses being provided.

“As a Demand Protest operative you will receive a monthly retainer of $2,500 on top of our standard per-event pay of $50/hr, as long as you participate in at least 6 events a year. We are extremely flexible and can work with almost any existing work schedule. Full-time operatives receive health, vision and dental insurance for families, flexible vacations, and paid trainings. Travel expenses are always paid.”

There are just a few cities, for which job postings were published on the Backpage advertising website: El Paso (Texas), Tulsa (Oklahoma), San Diego (California), Phoenix (Arizona).

It is still unclear, whether the DemandProtest.com website is legitimate. Reportedly, it was created on December 2, 2016, about a month after the Trump’s election.

“We are strategists mobilizing millennials across the globe with seeded audiences and desirable messages,” the DemandProtest.com website claims. “With absolute discretion a top priority, our operatives create convincing scenes that become the building blocks of massive movements. When you need the appearance of outrage, we are able to deliver it at scale while keeping your reputation intact.”

Earlier, on December 2016, SF reported about a Darknet website, collecting donations to help organize the assassination of President-elect Donald Trump and his future Vice President Mike Pence.

backpage.com allows ads to be posted free of charge. I placed a test ad to confirm that it’s free. They do charge for moving your ad to the top of listings, adding nearby cities, “auto reposting”, and sponsoring ads. This is a poor man’s way of publicizing things. http://posting.chicago.backpage.com/online/classifieds/PostAdPPI.html/chi/chicago.backpage.com/?serverName=chicago.backpage.com&superRegion=Chicago&u=chi&section=4373&category=4390
